A week and more of days of going back and forth and going to store after store we decided on the flooring for the Florida Room / my new office. I like the lightness of it and the fact it doesn’t have a real stand out pattern. Plus it is sound dampening as the room is very echoing right now. So I will put the link below. But it is the Iced Oak. We will get the upgraded underneath barrier even though we really don’t need it. But we decided if we are going to do this we will do it correctly from the top down. Then move on to the rest of the house. Hugs

Looks like the Seaside Pine I did the kitchen in a year and a half ago. You definitely want to use the underlay: more important than the echo problem is without it it just doesn’t go together right and there’s nothing worse for a DIY guy (yes, it will deaden the echo). If you have someplace to do it spread the pieces out so’s to match them with like pieces; putting it down random out of the box will turn out random out of the box
And lay the boxes flat until you’re ready to open them, don’t stand them on end or their narrow side …
