Because Elon Musk and his minions stole their magic wands, I guess, sheesh. What, exactly, are they supposed to be doing?

I would add that, first if our media including The Guardian would not have sanewashed Republicans and featured so many “regular” people who are not maga but actually are maga, but instead would have featured the actual Dems without attacking them, and featured their supporters who are regular people who are not maga, that would have gone a goodly distance in this past election for things to be more balanced.
The thing was, a few million people who did vote Biden before did not vote Harris, and lots of that was the lack of coverage (not to mention the total backstabbing of Biden, and also of Harris, later on, because she shared airspace with Republicans.) She was around but can’t be everywhere all at once. But seriously: not portraying the candidates, including legislative candidates who desperately needed coverage as opposed to those-Fetterman-who were not running and didn’t need coverage. Finally, we the people apparently did not do our parts to support the candidates most likely to bring about better things rather than awful things. And that’s on us, not the Dems wand to tho managed to get elected but did not receive a majority anywhere. They’re out there screeching about this, though, if anybody really wants to know rather than just complaining and blaming Dems.
Sorry. I really am, sorry for going off. It just really ticks me off that some people blame a group of elected people who do things lawfully and to the best of their abilities with the numbers they have, but then after complaining refuse to jump in and support efforts to improve things. It can’t be on a minority of electeds to get everything done. And then it seems it’s never enough. We’re lucky to have most of the Dems we have, really. We’re an ungrateful, non-participatory bunch of citizens.
