Fat Nixon: “You fucked up…you trusted me.”

Hi Bruce. This will be the third time I have tried to reply to your comment. WordPress ate the last two. Fat Nixon doesn’t care. He is hurting farms including some saying they will lose his farm if the equipment grands are not returned quickly. One school district had made 5 or 7 payments for a new school buses based on a grant that the Musk presidency froze, and now they can’t pay for the buses. They will have to have a special tax, slash programs, and not hiring the needed teachers because they need the money for the buses. No sense having a school if the kids can’t get there. Plus I read where in Tenn a person had her electric assistance removed and her account put in the red as unpaid due to the grant to cover the assistance being frozen. This is hurting people, but the media is not reporting it. Blogs and YouTubers are. Hugs

Down here in S. Central KS, local media are reporting it. There are many such situations happening, including to people/families who are moneyed, but stand to lose thousands and thousands of dollars of investment in new projects and businesses whose grants/loans are frozen. It’s not that I’m asking for people to feel sorry for people who can maybe afford to lose that much, but other than a very few families like the Kochs, it means a definite adjustment in living for many of these investors, who may not be able to afford to send their kids to college or to retire. So, I do feel badly for them. I’m not sure how many are Trump voters, either. He won KS, but not with a mandate. These families are many of the ones who show up during turkey and chicken/noodle dinners and serve, wash dishes, and write checks to help out. So, whoever they voted for, they’re not awful people most of the time. It’s a thing that ought to be publicized, because people don’t realize that it isn’t only the targets Republicans are aiming for, it’s really everyone everywhere.

Hi Ali. I agree it should be splashed all over the media. These illegal money freezes have stopped cancer patients treatment, hurt farmers in different grant programs, closing air programs, and one aid worker in working in one of the Africa countries afraid for their life was trapped with no way home. And it is great a few local stations can show it. But far too many stations have been bought by very wealthy republicans like Sinclair who demand that their stations support tRump and during the election would force the hosts / anchors to read false negative misinformation about Biden / Harris / Walz while also reading false positive things about tRump. It is horrible how now because media stations are big money the big three are cutting deals with tRump to pay him so he won’t use fake lawsuits that these media companies could easily win, but they have mergers and business deals that tRump could stop if they don’t bow to him. To the wealthy more money is far more important than doing the correct thing, the job of reporting the facts and reality. Also these green energy projects are more than the investments, they are jobs for workers. Good job with benefits. They boost the economy of those areas. Plus they cut the green house gases. Everything tRump is doing is making the lives of the people in the country to make a dying fossil fuel industry and their investors a few last millions. But then those people have already switched or will switch their wealth to what ever is the new energy. It just won’t be as profitable because it won’t cost so much to the consumer. Profit is king in the US, and Musk is the queen. Hugs
