White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt faced mockery on Wednesday after another apparent slipup during a press briefing.
Leavitt stated that President Donald Trump is “committed to passing a big reconciliation package later this year,” which includes “ending no taxes on tips.”

Critics quickly seized on the phrase, interpreting it as an accidental double negative that contradicted Trump’s 2024 election campaign promise to nix taxes on tips. Trump has yet to implement the policy.
Leavitt on Monday drew similar mockery after she accidentally claimed the Department of Justice will focus on “fighting law and order” when “fighting for law and order” was likely what she meant.

Hi Ali. I agree. One of the tweets said her job was talking and she was so shitty at it. I agree! She is so clueless and less than talented compared to prior White House press secretaries. But she has the tRump mentality and ways down pat, deny ever making a mistake even when it is recorded, blame everyone else for anything you do that is incorrect / wrong. Pretend to the max that everything you say is the truth and reality against all evidence. Then maintain that you are sure tRump is the best smartest most correct stable genius handsomest man on earth that even straight guys cry while begging him to let them polish his tiny mushroom nob.
After all big strong men who have been in the most worst battles aways come to him crying telling him how brave and great he is. Ever wonder why tRump constantly needs to keep coming up and repeating these types of stories? Also I know you see this, I see it, and the public sees he has the vocabulary of a slightly behind 5 year old. The way he speaks, the few words he knows and uses over and over and over and over, with no additions to his vocabulary which has clearly shrunk … biggly … over the last 8 years. But his cult followers seem to never notice it at all. Maybe because as they used to say when interviewed, “tRump talks like we do”. He speaks like us, I heard over and over repeatedly. If I spoke like that I wouldn’t be proud of it. Most people would think you were drunk if they heard someone talking like that. Hugs
