   1. Hi Roger. Sorry I am not failure with the reference. But tRump himself let the cat out of the bag on his tariffs … he said that he wanted to hurt other countries bad enough that they come begging to make a deal with HIM. Yes he thinks of himself as that powerful and important that all other countries now must come and pay him tribute to keep in his good graces. Sadly a few countries did give in and are doing that … but not the major ones, the biggest ones. If they hold strong they can defeat him easily. The pain on the US people will be far more than the pain on other countries and so … as you say the country with this many guns and angry entitled people won’t take it well that their favorite cheap stuff is not there anymore.       1. I am sitting here Scottie, simmering. Trump is bad enough but the bigots, ‘rubes’ useful fools, deniers and the rest who put him there.
         Reminding me of the OLD Testament (beloved by the MAGA crew) and Exodus 32 how the people turn their back on God and worship a Calf made of gold.
