I have two grandsons in the autism spectrum.
Seldom have I encountered such folly and lack of understanding of a subject as displayed by this fellow Kennedy.
It seems as if the current president of the USA appointed him not because of any knowledge he might have, but to be simply provocative.

Hi Roger. My best to your two grandsons along with all your family. I never understood the autism issue until a couple of years ago. Full disclosure, I took the online test for autism and I scoured a 100 out of 100. My eyes were opened on this topic by Barry, who comes here and has advised me on autism issues. He asked a simple questions … first do you want people to refer to gay people as people with gay … and the second was should people who are gay be considered ill, needing to be cured.
He opened my eyes to the entire issue. I equate the needing to understand and adjusting to autistic people to the same need for trans people. Would you want a trans person in the bathroom with you is the same as saying would you want an autistic person in the bathroom with you? Both are showing bigotry, you might as well ask do you white people want to share bathrooms with black people in the times of segregation.
Roger you amaze me. You do not hide you are very religious, yet you support your gay, trans, and other nonconforming family members. You support the females in your life being independent and making their life their own. You stay here knowing I am an atheist but also that Ali and Randy are Christian believers. You have even supported me reading the horrific posts about my childhood abuse and unlike a lot of people you did not run away nor did you censure your replies.
I have learned so much from both the writings on your own site but what you include here. I had such a spotty education for reasons you already know and to have you inform me and send me links is a great joy for me. I am sorry for your wife’s health problems. It is an issue I understand well, now with Ron entering dementia it is terrifying for me. Just want to say thank you. I wanted to call you a brother for being such a friend, or being a supporter, and being a Christian I can point to prove not all Christians want people like Ron and I dead. Hugs

Hi Scottie.
I am honestly humbled by your remarks, and am basically stuck for a reply, except to say ‘Thank you very much my dear friend. Your words mean a great deal to me,’
And to add I got lucky with examples, some mentors, my dad (flaws and all) and Sheila.
I can understand the tremendous weight you must be feeling with Ron’s health. I had a similar experience with my mother. We will be thinking of you both, we will be with you; sometimes miles do not matter.

Hi Scottie and Determined;
The internet crowd who were all over the “vaccines cause autism” are now in charge of the nations health. What could go wrong?
Hugs;

Hi Randy. It is coming out now that internal documents that people in the tRump administration want to cut at least 1/3rd from the federal health costs. The people mean nothing, it is a profit / ideological administration that is for destroying the government to make it so private companies can take it over. Also their other goal is to make the country as pure a white Christian ethnostate. Hugs
