(As a person who mostly does smile, but is occasionally still told to do so, I appreciate this comic. Meanwhile, as to the bagel, see the first comment just now; or HuckleberryHiroshima’s comment.)

TAX DAY BONUS
Hi. I think the amount people smile is learned young. Happy children learn to smile naturally. I find smiling to be easier now but struggled for years to smile. As for taxes, Ron waited till yesterday to do ours something new as he normally did them in February. Then it became a disaster. It was not watching what he was doing but he got locked out of the tax prep account and couldn’t get back in. He changed his password and even tried to change his username at one point. I got most of it straightened out but then the system said we tried too many times and again locked us out. So I had him just print the forms and fill them out. Then this morning he took them to the post office. I guess next year I will have to do it. Oh well. Hugs

I smile much more as an adult, without being advised to do so, than I ever did as a child, too. Much like accepting hugs, being told to smile made (and still reminds me) me feel bullied into something that made someone else feel better. I guess; I’ve never understood it. Don’t stop writing “Hugs” to me, though!!!🫶
