Management at a Kid Rock-themed restaurant and bar in Nashville reportedly rushed non-citizen employees off the premises during the weekend over fears of an impending ICE raid.
Hey, isn’t it illegal to hire people who you know are not legal to work in the United States? Why, that’s a crime!
During the busy Saturday service, non-citizen employees at three restaurants owned by Nashville businessman Steve Smith were told to leave, including Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse.
Hey, didn’t someone just arrest a judge for not turning over non-citizens to ICE?
“We were already understaffed because of the ICE raids throughout the weekend,” an employee at one restaurant told the outlet. “Then, around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, our manager came back and told anyone without legal status to go home.”
I mean, it’s almost like they don’t mind breaking the law whenever it suits them. Who would ever have thought it?

Remember when enforcing the law always go after those who don’t have the ability to fight back, those at the top are to be left alone as chances are they are the supporters of your own criminal activities.

Hi. The fact is employers like to be able to use ICE and deportation as a threat so they can pay lower wages and abuse the undocumented workers. In the slaughterhouses the underage workers that they got caught hiring were all undocumented kids. tRump fights to get brown people out but during his first term upped the number of temp worker visas his companies could hire and bring into the US. And as others pointed out the wealthy think the laws don’t apply to them. I would also add the drive to remove even legal immigrants and hold legal citizens in detention is the color of their skin. Stephen Miller is behind all of this. He is a die hard white supremacist who hates both those not white and lower income workers. In college he is famous for giving a speech in which he complained about having to pick up his own trash because that is what the janitors are for. He felt so entitled that he felt he should be able to throw his trash on the floor / ground / or leave it on a table to have someone else pick it up for him, possibly a person with dark skin than his who was the janitor.
