I am liking this post because I believe that the horrific genocide going on in Gaza needs as much publicity as possible, not because I like what is happening there.

Hi Barry. Thank you. I understand and agree with you. That is why I keep posting these heart rending news articles. I read them before I send them to the blog via email to post. I have no idea how many people on the blog read them. (know I can find out via the stats dashboard area, but I prefer not to be disappointed by lack of people reading them) But the stuff happening in Gaza has fallen off reporting by main stream news. Most news media are not reporting the final part of the genocide. Barry when I was in the Army stationed to Germany I was required to attend classes on the World War 2 history and what happened. Often we heard the phase never again. Clearly the Israeli government and those in that leadership mean “never again” to mean never again to them only. They clearly are ready to do what was done to them in the name of their Jewish Torah to gain back land they claim their god gave them. Others disagree the land was god given and history clearly shows it was men tired of the war and worried about a bunch of Jewish refugees in their own countries who divided up land not even theirs to do so to create Israel, the home of the Jews. Bigotry caused the genocide against the Jewish people and it was bigotry that created Israel. Now greed and bigotry with the blessing of fundamentalist Christians who believe all the “Jews” must return to Israel for the end times to happen that heavy fund the Israeli lobby buying the US congress people to do what ever is needed to help that end time prediction come true. I detest how religion and religious bigotry has infiltrated our US government. Along with the rest of the bigotry in our country that seems to have a resurgence as it makes some people feel better and more righteous about themselves. I tend to avoid writing about state sanctioned killing on a mass scale whether warfare or genocide as words generally fail me under such occasions. On Sunday, I did reblog an article titled “When Victims Become Perpetrators?” as it puts much of what is happening in Gaza into perspective: No justification, no excuses – simply what humankind is capable of – indescribable evil triggered by national CPTSD – Complex post-traumatic stress disorder affecting an entire community

Hi Barry. I understand what you are saying. Words do fail us in the face of so much harm to fellow humans by other humans. If it was being caused by something / someone else than ourselves it would be easy to respond to. As for your post. I did see it in my mail that you had posted it. I will go back and look for it. Sorry but I am not doing much with posting, reading others posts, or responding to comments because I am struggling for time and exhausted. With the current situation with Ron’s health requiring me to go out with him if it is anything big, also to give him the time to work on the two bathroom renovations requires me to do most of the housework in the home I can. That includes stuff I was doing like laundry but now I am trying to cook or arrange meals, I am struggling to do other chores like washing the dishes which I did occasionally before but doing most of the time now, I am trying to do the sweeping and mopping of floors against my doctors orders due to the damage in my shoulders and spine. The point being I am pulled away from my computers and then I am too tired and worn out to do anything but go to bed to nap / sleep. My pain levels are not being covered by even my break through medications nor by taking extra meds. I will go look up your post in my email as I love reading what you write. I often learn so much I never realized before that reading yours and other posts is something I value. I often wonder how I miss the points you / others make and feel rather … uneducated. I took a break to write this as I sat with my legs up on a stool because my legs have started swelling the last few weeks so bad it feels like my skin will split open on my feet, calves and legs below the knees. People have told me it is my heart or blood pressure medications, but I don’t know. But now I must go back to trying to get things done, making the coffee pots for morning. Best wishes.
