I am sorry I am posting so many videos and cartoon memes. The issue is my cataracts are so bad one of my eyes is no longer working and my glasses are useless. I saw an eye doctor on Tuesday and when Ron gets back we will have a talk about surgery. It will have to be done on both eyes. What bothers me is the last time I was under for surgery they had a hard time bring me back. My breathing got too shallow and … well it took them a lot longer than they expected to bring me back to consciousness. I am worried if I go under again … I may stay there. But it is a struggle to do anything on the computer now. All the letters are made of fuzzy caterpillars and things I look at even with my glasses have fur on them. But I need my glasses for the computer, phone, and watch but can’t wear them for anything else. So I can take them off for bigger things like watching videos, moving around doing things, even driving. Just need them for reading and typing which gives me a headache after a bit. Hugs.

Hi Judy. I am surprised how many people I know have had that surgery. Did you get a corrective lens when you had it? I have been talking to Ron my husband and he agrees with you. It is time to get the surgery and get a corrective lens. I can’t do what I enjoy doing with my eyes like this. But I admit I am worried about it.

I had the right eye done first, and when I developed a cataract in the left eye (I was in my fifties at the time) I went to another Ophthamalogist to have that one tended to. No regrets. There is no pain, since you are totally sedated and you have to be extremely careful for the first few days after, not to dislodge the new lens. I wore glasses and slept on the recliner so I would be sure not to mess it up in my sleep.
Oh just do it, hon. The hardest part is keeping your hands away from your eye for a few days.

Hi Roger. Yes I guess I will look into it. But what I found out is there are still costs to it. But we will see.
As for the DHH Secretary ignoring a Federal Senator and having him dragged away, shoved to the ground, and handcuffed. That is what tRump wants to see. He is a coward but he is a wannabe thug also. He acts like a thug when he knows he is protected and has all the authority. He and Stephen Miller want the people working for tRump to be thuggish, treat the Democratic Party members as something to be stepped on. They want the police and ICE to be brutal to those they deal with. Especially when it comes to immegration and non-white people. The government system we have has broken down, lawmakers are afraid, and those who want a single party white ethnostate or theocracy are all in on it. They want a Russia here. They want a Hungary here. I am very worried. The normal way things are done and the party of law / order voted in a convicted felon conman. I am worried. Hugs

Firstly Scottie I wish you well with your endeavours to get your eyesight issues solved. Cost is always a factor.
The difference between Russia / Hungary and the USA is that those are two nations with histories of authoritarian governance. Thus many folk have worked out ways to work around some aspects without drawing attention to themselves.
In the USA folk (white that is) are used to doing what they what they want to do. Now they are finding this is not the case anymore.
That is going to make a some folk very annoyed. In a nation with easy access to guns and a president who has no idea or will on how to attempt to unify a nation that suggests a troubling future. MAGA does not have the monopoly on firearms or hotheads either. It doesn’t take many either.
