Hi Judy. I agree. The problem is this is all racism. The places tRump mentioned taking over are all places with black mayors or a majority black population. The tRump people want desperately to have a huge uprising against the troops so that tRump can use the Insurrection act. They will make this seem like the sandwich was a bomb attack against people doing their job. Hugs

It would be battery no matter who hit who with a sandwich. Most people would not press charges, and be tempted to take the sandwich away from him. But in these days of people “fearing for their lives,” he’s lucky he didn’t get shot; probably his complexion is what saved him.
The main thing a person should really do around police is remain silent, unless you’re making a report. Just like everyone else, they shouldn’t be hit with anything.

Hi Ali. Yes simple battery which is a misdemeanor not a felony. It is laughable that they are so desperate to pretend that these cosplaying ICE agents / police in complete body armor are threatened by a subway sub? But tRump and crew of white supremacist need to pretend that massive force is needed to quell a violent insurrection by putting the military on every corner to make tRump look strong. The white supremacist like Stephen Miller want to normalize the idea of military patrolling the cities of our country. To the wealthy poor people are violent criminals, to the wealthy white people the more police the safer they are because the police don’t target them. To conservatives the police are there to protect property not people. Heard something interesting this morning, the man who threw the sandwich was a Department of Justice employee. He outran the officers for a block, he then stopped and waited for the officers. When they got to him he proclaimed he had thrown the sandwich. Hugs
