Jill is a friend and ally of Playtime, and I’m pretty sure I’m not her only reader here:

Hi Roger. I agree, but I can’t take credit. I have not been able to go to others blogs in months. Ali posted this one. She does a lot of the posts here. I am hoping to have more time to do other blogs again soon, I hope to feel better, not be so busy around the house, and hope to see better after my cataract surgeries. I really like Jill and her posts. Hugs

That’s why I posted it; I knew you’d want to know, Scottie. No worries about credit. I’m humbly glad you want me to contribute here.

If I may ask do you have a date for the surgery Scottie?
Best wishes

Hi Roger. Yes but a snag has developed. The first surgery is on the left eye which is so bad the eye is not able to help me see and that is on the 28th. However they sent the surgery clearance to the wrong doctor so they never received the reply. They sent the clearance request to the correct doctor yesterday so I hope they get it in time. The second surgery is for right eye on 16th of September. The surgery takes between 10 or 15 minutes and my part of the cost was $880 plus. The total cost billed for the operations was well over 5 grand. Not bad for 10 to 15 minutes of work. But I have to have mine done and if I did not have Medicare I couldn’t afford it. Ron will have his done after I have mine. But the fact is I have my computer scaled to 255 and I often need to raise the browser up to 120 percent more than that to be able to read. I get tired and have headaches. The cartoons / memes are easier because they are bigger and shorter. Or I can watch / listen to videos on the kitchen computer while in the kitchen or working around the house. I admit right now the idea of just watching movies and TV shows rather than the news is so tempting. The despair and disappointment along with discouraging. Hugs

No matter what system Scottie there always seem to be delays and snags. Thank goodness for Medicare is available for you and that you have some funds to meet the difference.
We will be thinking of you both.
Best wishes
Roger & Sheila.
