Both Barry and Judy recently left comments saying that a lot of the cartoons are not displaying for them. This is a problem as I take a lot of hours to build these posts. If I have a cartoon source that won’t display for the viewers I am wasting my time using that source. When I check the pages the cartoons and links display normally for me. Let me know if they don’t display for you and what country you are in. Thanks. Hugs
Question on the cartoon / meme pages

Scotty,. I don’t know about Barry but I am running Win7 (really) so it may not be your fault, but mine, at the very least, since I’ve become accustomed to the blank screen here and there, which considering the age of this computer is actually pretty impressive.
Don’t beat yourself up over this unless you’re positive it’s thee and not meee…

Hi Judy, Not Windows 7 or Windows anything. I’ve been using various versions of Linux since around 2005. I currently have 2 desktops and two laptops running Linux all exhibiting the same problem. And regardless of which web browser I use – Chrome, Vivaldi, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Opera, the problem is the same. Additionally My Android phone has exactly the same issue, again regardless of which browser I use. So Windows 7 is not the cause.

Hi Scottie, I’ve just gone back over some of your older cartoon/meme posts with broken links, and I have found every broken link has a URL that starts with i0.wp.com/image.cagle.com/, and that by changing the link to start with image.cagle.com/ the link works every time.
Interestingly URLs that start with i0.wp.com/www.reviewjournal.com/ and i0.wp.com/resources.arcamax.com/ do display as expected. Only i0.wp.com/image.cagle.com/ appear to be problematic. I hope that helps in tracking down the problem.
I very much doubt that only Judy and I have experienced broken links. More likely others have simply accepted that broken links are a fact of life. When it’s a one-off event I’ll let it slide, but after repeated events, I’ll let you know. I know that you put your heart and soul into your blog posts, which is why I will let you know about repeat problems.
