If you believe that a message of love and unity is in opposition to everything you stand for, and you have to fight it with every fiber of your being, then you are either Darth Sidious, Hitler, or Donald Trump.
Why would you take a message that says, “The Only Thing More Powerful Than Hate is Love” as something hostile and political? Because it’s in Spanish and everything you’re about is hate?
Last night after the Super Bowl, Trump posted to social media, “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Hi. What the cartoonist wrote is the truth about the maga base. They are the school yard bullies and lower achieving kids who hated those that did better than them. They need people to look down on to make themselves feel better. They blame everyone else for their lives because they punch down not reach up. They want to be rude, crude, and socially unacceptable in daily life and society. The progressive inclusion and progress we made the last couple of decades had pushed them under a rock and forced them to be better people and they hated it. tRump gave them permission to be horrible again.
