I have no hunger. Sorry but that is the truth. But Ron and many people here insist I have to eat something. So I am warming up some of what I cooked last night. I am so sorry to everyone, I love cooking … but often as the day gets longer and I get more tired, I simply have no hunger and can not eat. Hugs

Best Wishes and Hugs,
Scottie
DH used to ask, how could he eat when he had no appetite? As if the only reason or ability to eat is an appetite. Get something down you, Scottie. Seriously. With all the work you’ve done today, you need fuel. Your meds can nauseate you if you don’t put something in your stomach. Not a lot, just something, preferably with protein, but something. I’m not begging, just being polite; please eat even if you have no appetite. Your heart is a muscle and needs the fuel.

Hi Ali. Thank you. Yes my medication can make me nauseous, and the 800 mg ibuprofen says to take it with food. How ever I think the solution is one Ron found that works and you suggested also which is to remember to eat before I get that tired. Once I get that tired and worn out just the act of swallowing is hard and a chore. Hugs

she’s right, Scottie. Even a dish of ice cream, or toast, or anything. Most meds are intended to be taken with food, so as to not shock the system.

Hi Judy. Yes that is true, I have several that way to take with food. It is that I simply get too tired and worn out to even swallow. But the good news is I do have lots of good food here. Today I plan a large salad for lunch. Hugs

Back in the 80s, when I was an exotic dancer, fueled by alcohol & cocaine, I never had an appetite, but dancers need food for energy & to keep their muscles healthy (unlike most exotic dancers, I actually DANCED). So I lived on chicken soup & toast & tea & vitamins. I think that’s one of the reasons I made it through those years, while so many of my peers OD’d.
I think chicken soup is probably one of the best things anyone can eat. Just the broth is healthy. I’m fighting a cold right now & don’t have an appetite but I am going to have a cup of Progresso Chickarina soup, which my mother told me was the best canned soup anyone could buy back in the 70s & she was right, like she was right about so many things. If you have never tried it, I suggest you do. It’s really good! You’ll feel better! 🙂

Progresso is awesome. I do think my own chicken stock is best, but I love Progresso’s products. I hope we all feel better very soon!
I had dental work a couple of hours ago, and am thinking of thawing out some stock myself, and throwing a few chopped veggies into it.
