I have two birth certificates, one Real one, and the ‘doctored’ one, since Im adopted. I have no idea where my marriage certificate is, anyway. Looks like I’m out of luck in six different ways…my dad took me to the town hall to register to vote, and I was registered as Republican. I usually vote Democrat, just out of Yankee contrariness.

Hi Judy. I don’t know how to get my birth certificate changed to reflect my current last name, it still has my abuser’s name. I would have to file for a passsport but the time crunch is too tight for this election. I have heard it can take almost a year to get your passport sometimes. I hope you can figure out how to do something to fix your situation and continue to vote. tRump called voting a privilege but the fact is it is listed as a right in the Constitution, but one denied freely to far too many people already. At least I learned that passports are cheaper than I thought. I am seeing $130 everywhere. I thought it was well over two hundred. Hugs
