Does anyone else hear that warning siren?

Well, I’m dying soon. I’ve got a cough, runny nose, bit of a head-ache. It’s over for me.

I’m devastated, destroyed! I can’t do housework like this, I might sneeze! You women won’t understand.

In all seriousness, perhaps men do complain about not feeling well far more than women do. But, see – it’s how we look at the world. For a man, not feeling well is a direct evidence of something being broken, something we have no way to fix and can hope only that someone else can fix the problem – or at best suffer until we are back under warranty.
Women, on the other hand, do look upon illness as a direct evidence of something broken, and they very much do complain about it – do not let the meme lie to you. But the real difference is that women are very familiar with dealing with broken things, things that shouldn’t be, and they just go on with their day mainly because the man in her life hasn’t fixed that thing that’s broken yet.

Hugs Everyone! – I mean, you know, from across the room. You don’t want this cold….

    1. Hi Ali. Unfortunately, the reason for my current cold, probably, and for not being on the blog much lately are the same: I missed a lot of time at work and am working 12-hour days trying to catch up. But, because my sinuses can’t take the pressure from my cpap, I’m not sleeping well. Added to that is the stress of my parents not doing so well right now and being 1400 miles away – things are a bit full in my day and I have no choice but to make priorities. I believe the phrase “it doesn’t rain unless it pours” applies.

I’m hoping that things are going to smooth out a bit. Dad comes home from the hospital today, so fingers crossed, and I have a couple of weeks before I have to go up and get their place ready. He’s not going to be handling it as much this year, so I’ll be there a lot. I’ve been thinking on getting a laptop that I can take with me to do more when not at home, but I don’t want a windows11. I’m thinking I need to go with a macbook or something.

I did ask Scottie how a “man-cold” works in a household with two men? lol.

      🙂 Randy
