The Supreme Court Is Illegitimate
The court’s conservatives ripped the mask off the institution in a brief, unsigned decision allowing Alabama to use a racially discriminatory congressional map.

Yes, an ideologically stacked unelected lifetime panel of actively partisan Opus Dei ~ Catholic Illuminati ~ vigilantes handing down religious edicts, fatwas, in the dark is illegitimate, quite possibly unconstitutional, and certainly contrary to The Founders Intent
I posted to a bulletin board over twenty-five years ago the nepo appoint (anoint?) ment of the scion of old-school robber baron Hitler financing money with little intellect, less education and no practical experience to the highest office in the land marked (((The End of America)))
G’ma Cassandra used to always tell me to seek out silver linings in dark clouds and I must admit to a certain satisfaction in foresight, even if nobody listened …

Hi Ten Bears. I wanted to be sure so I searched it. I think you are talking about Clarence Thomas who was appointed because he was a black man consertitive uncle tom replacing a black progressive man who made laws that bettered the country, not himself. Clarence Thomas threatened to leave the court because he was not making enough money and benefits thereby blackmailing the wealthy right wing to feed him money cementing his far right always in favor of wealthy people and white supremacists against the interests of black people, lower incomes, and the intent of the congress who wrote the laws he invailadated to please the wealthy people feeding him bribes. But because he is a SCOTUS justice he can’t be held to account or made to recluse himself like a lower court judge.
But to me Thomas is a typical wealthy wannabe republican who sacrifices everything that defines them and their history to cash in for an ever bigger payout regardless of who gets hurt including from his own disadvantaged group. He gravitates / rules for money the way Alito rules based on his version of Christianity. I am delighted to be able to respond to you again. Even in the comments you tend to teach me stuff. Hugs

The supreme court used to be the big deal, you respected the people on it. Now it’s closer to the Supremes.

Hi Judy. I agree. Also the same could be said of congress. I remember as a kid in the lower grades called either elementary school and how we were taught that people in congress and the White House were called “statesmen.” We were taught they were people of learning and deep thinking. Today no one thinks that. Adults understand that the idea of these people doing things to benefit the country as a whole is a lie and their goal is to either promote their party or to gain personal wealth. I remember as a 6th grader at 12 because I was going to miss our school end of year graduation the princible who was routinely fucking me during the school day arranged for me to be given my “diploma” from 6th grade by our sitting senator during an end of year class trip to Washington DC. Every one was in awe as I stood next to the Vermont senator as he was photographed handing me my diploma. Today I wouldn’t have the same awe I did then for the congressional offices and for the person that I know I did then. A thing that stays in my harmful memories bank of that trip. The chaperone of me and another boy left us alone and went to party with other chaperones. The boy I was rooming with wanted to play a card game with me and while I did not understand the rules I did understand what he wanted as we were both nude. Just then my adopting mother came to the room door and when she came into the room and saw what was happening she made me dress and go with her. You might think that was to protect me, but instead she took me to her empty room and hit, spanked, and beat me for being nude and about to do for the other boy what I routinely did at home. I really did not understand what I did wrong. Now I realize she was worried that the fact that I was being raped and used sexually would get out if we had been discovered. Oh well I was not only sad that I got another beating / spanked but I had really been looking forward to having sex with the other boy. I by 12 years old knew I was attracted to boys / guys and the idea of doing it with someone my own age with out adults telling us what to do was very exciting to me and I wanted it. Maybe that was what upset my adopting mother so much, I might learn I had control and agency in who with and where I have sex. Hugs
