Anti-Freedom Marjorie Greene Wants Women To Have NO Control Over Their Bodies

Right-wing extremist Marjorie Green is back in the news and this time sheโ€™s saying that getting an abortion will only ruin a womenโ€™s relationship with her male partner and that having the baby will be the best for everyone involved. Guess freedom-loving MTG only wants true freedom when it comes to things she believes in. “Marge today: โ€œIf you accidentally get pregnant .. that abortion .. is not going to make that boyfriend of yours or that guy love you .. Itโ€™s not going to help you pursue a career .. Let me tell you what will help you out more .. when you have a baby.โ€”

Trump Does EXACTLY What Youโ€™d Think To Help Dr. Oz Win His Primary Election Race

Donald Trump is once again pushing conspiracies of voter fraud as Dr. Mehmet Ozโ€™s Republican Senate primary race against Dave McCormick remains too close to call. Trump is pushing Dr. Oz to claim victory in the race so they can claim that McCormick โ€œcheatedโ€ if it turns out he actually won the nomination.

“Former President Donald Trump once again claimed an election is being subverted by cheating, all while saying Dr. Mehmet Oz should go ahead and declare himself the winner of Pennsylvaniaโ€™s Republican Senate primary. The Pennsylvania race is currently too close to call as votes are being counted to see whether Oz โ€” who was endorsed by Trump โ€” managed to defeat Republican rival candidate Dave McCormick. The ambiguity over the final result stems from a combination of early voting and mail-in ballots that have yet to be counted. As far as Trump sees it, the contest is already over, so he got on Truth Social and said โ€œDr. Oz should declare victory. It makes it much harder for them to cheat with the ballots that they โ€œjust happened to find.โ€”

Trump Stooge Wants To Indoctrinate Kids With MAGA-Themed Childrenโ€™s Book

Trump dweeb Kash Patel wrote a childrenโ€™s book in order to indoctrinate children into the MAGA movement, using the Steele dossier and the investigations into Trumpโ€™s possible collusion with Russia. The book is an odd attempt at historical revision of the first few years of Trumpโ€™s presidency, especially with blatant references to Russia, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and other real-life figures with poorly crafted pseudonyms.

“Kash Patel, a former Republican aide on the House intelligence committee who Donald Trump weighed installing as deputy CIA director, is publishing a childrenโ€™s book on Monday that perpetuates the false claim the Steele dossier sparked investigations into Russian collusion. The book features characters such as โ€œKing Donaldโ€ and his enemy โ€œHillary Queentonโ€. In the book, titled โ€œThe Plot Against the Kingโ€ and set to be published by Brave Books, Patel repeats Trumpโ€™s false claim that the FBI began investigating links between his campaign and Russia based on a dossier compiled by Christopher Steele, a former British spy. The 35-page tome, complete with an epilogue that details Donald Trumpโ€™s false claims about the FBI inquiry, bizarrely uses the tool of childrenโ€™s fictional characters to provide a revisionist account of the probe that dogged the first two years of the Trump presidency and eventually led to a special counsel investigation.”

Unhinged Republican Asks WILD Questions To Doctor During Abortion Rights Hearing

Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson asked Dr. Yashica Robinson during a House hearing on abortion rights whether or not she supported a womenโ€™s right to have an abortion if the baby is โ€œhalfway out of the birth canalโ€. Obviously in shock from the statement, Dr. Robinson threw cold water on the hypothetical even though Johnson interpreted it as her avoiding the question.

“Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) at abortion access hearing: “How about if a child is halfway out of the birth canal? Is an abortion permissible then?โ€ Dr. Yashica Robinson: “I can’t even fathom that … just like you probably can’t imagine what you would do if your daughter was raped.โ€”

Martin County School District investigating alleged photo of students spelling out racial slur

https://www.wpbf.com/article/florida-martin-county-school-district-investigating-racist-photo/40022387#

The Martin County School District is investigating after a photo showing six middle school students spelling out a racial slur was posted on social media.

Tuesday afternoon, district officials confirmed the photo was authentic.

ย

They said it was taken by students at Hidden Oaks Middle School in Palm City.

Each student in the photo is holding a letter spelling out a common racial slur aimed at the Black community.

Officials said the students made the letters in an art class.

โ€œItโ€™s disgusting,โ€ said district spokesperson Jennifer Deshazo. โ€œAnd itโ€™s against everything that the Martin County School District stands for.โ€

Coincidentally, the school board was scheduled to hold its regular meeting Tuesday, just hours after the photo was posted.

Discussion of the photo was not on the agenda, but people still packed the room to voice their opinions to the board.

โ€œItโ€™s racism,โ€ one woman said.

โ€œI am appalled,โ€ said another woman.

โ€œWhat is happening is not OK,โ€ said a third person stepping to the podium.

Outside the meeting, the president of the Martin County chapter of the NAACP expressed his concern.

โ€œI was very heartbroken,โ€ said Jimmy Smith.

Smith said he wanted people to know this is not just kids being kids.

He said itโ€™s about so much more than just a photo.

โ€œWe all have made mistakes,โ€ Smith said. โ€œBut when you get to that degree and that depth to come up with an idea like that, thereโ€™s something else going on.โ€

Many people at the board meeting took it even further, saying itโ€™s just a small step from a photo to the racially motivated shooting that killed 10 people in Buffalo over the weekend.

โ€œWe better take this very, very seriously or we will have Buffalo blood here in Martin County,โ€ said local attorney Marwan Porter.

District officials said there is no question the students in the photo will be punished.

They said the exact punishment would be determined by the outcome of their investigation.

Florida bill to shield people from feeling ‘discomfort’ over historic actions by their race, nationality or gender approved by Senate committee

A bill backed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis that would prohibit Florida’s public schools and private businesses from making people feel “discomfort” or “guilt” based on their race, sex or national origin received first approval Tuesday by the state’s Senate Education Committee.

The Republican-controlled committee approved the bill with six Republican senators in favor of the bill and three Democratic senators opposed to it.
ย
Although the bill, named “Individual Freedom,” does not mentionย Critical Race Theory, the term is used in the attached billย analysisย that was given to senators.
ย
DeSantis also referred to CRT when he announced the proposed legislation at a media event in December, saying the proposed law would help keep CRT out of the schools and out of the workplace, calling it “state-sanctioned racism” that creates a “hostile work environment.”
Underย Florida Department of Education rulesย that took effect last June, CRT cannot be taught in schools.
ย
Critical Race Theoryย is a concept that seeks to understand and address inequality and racism in the US. The term also has become politicized and been attacked by its critics as a Marxist ideology that’s a threat to the American way of life.
ย
The legislation would prohibit individuals from making people “feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin.”
ย
It would also prohibit employers from providing training or instruction that “espouses, promotes, advances, inculcates, or compels” individuals to believe “that an individual bears responsibility for, or should be discriminated against or receive adverse treatment because of actions committed in the past by other members of the same race, color, sex or national origin.”
ย
Instructors would be able to address topics of sexism, slavery, racial oppression, racial segregation, racial discrimination in an age-appropriate manner. However, the bill states that “classroom instruction and curriculum may not be used to indoctrinate or persuade students to a particular point of view inconsistent with the principles of this subsection or state academic standards.”
ย
Democratic State Senator Shevrin Jones, the committee’s vice chair and its only Black member, told CNN by phone that the bill is an attempt to revise history and keep White people from feeling uncomfortable.
ย
“This isn’t even a ban on Critical Race Theory, this is a ban on Black history,” he said. “They are talking about not wanting White people to feel uncomfortable? Let’s talk about being uncomfortable. My ancestors were uncomfortable when they were stripped away from their children.”
ย
In a statement emailed to CNN, DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw said the governor’s position was that “discrimination based on race, color, sex, and national origin” had no place in Florida.
ย
The bill “makes clear that no Floridian — student, worker, or anyone else — should be subjected to discriminatory content and rhetoric,” she wrote.
ย
“Every Floridian deserves an equal shot at success, regardless of skin color. This means considering each person as an individual with unique attributes, experiences, and aspirations, rather than stereotyping them as a member of this or that identity group,” she said.
Pushaw added: “It is frankly disturbing that anyone would find these ideas controversial in the year 2022.”

Rep. Stefanik claims in ads that Democrats seek a โ€˜permanent election insurrectionโ€™ by providing pathways to citizenship

Rep. Elise Stefanik (N.Y.), the No. 3 House Republican, is pushing the notion in Facebooks ads that President Biden and fellow Democrats are seeking a โ€œpermanent election insurrectionโ€ by expanding pathways to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

ย

The ads from Stefanik come ahead of a rally planned for Saturday in Washington in support of those charged with crimes in the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol and as House Democrats work to advance a measure that would allow several million immigrants to apply for permanent residency.

โ€œRadical Democrats are planning their most aggressive move yet: a PERMANENT ELECTION INSURRECTION,โ€ says one version of the ad, paid for by Stefanikโ€™s campaign committee, that appeared Wednesday. โ€œTheir plan to grant amnesty to 11 MILLION illegal immigrants will overthrow our current electorate and create a permanent liberal majority in Washington.โ€

ย
ย

The ad depicts Biden with people who appear to be migrants reflected in the sunglasses he is wearing.

The GOPโ€™s gradual descent into โ€˜replacement theoryโ€™ and โ€˜nativist dog whistlesโ€™

The language in the ads echoes that of far-right commentators, including Fox Newsโ€™s Tucker Carlson, who have advanced a โ€œreplacement theoryโ€ that says liberals are seeking to replace White citizens with non-White immigrants who are inclined to support the Democratic Party.

For Stefanik, embracing such rhetoric is a departure from earlier in her political career. Before she replaced Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) as the House Republican conference chairwoman in May, some in her party had raised concerns that her record on immigration was too liberal.

An anti-immigration group criticized Stefanikโ€™s co-sponsorship of the Farm Workforce Authorization Act, which includes a pathway to citizenship for undocumented migrant farmworkers.

ย
ย

On Thursday, the Democratic National Committee seized on the timing of the ads.

โ€œAs another right-wing mob descends upon the Capitol this weekend, Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is echoing the same vile rhetoric that has led to several acts of violence in recent years,โ€ DNC spokesperson Adonna Biel said in a statement. โ€œApparently, this is what it takes to become a member of House Republican leadership โ€” xenophobia and a remarkable commitment to pushing the Big Lie that led to an actual insurrection.โ€

Different versions of Stefanikโ€™s ads appeared on Facebook over the weekend, with several showing migrants trying to scale a border barrier. Some of the ads that debuted Wednesday target Biden by name, as well as Vice President Harris and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

ย

The ads warning of an โ€œinsurrectionโ€ are appearing about nine months after violent supporters of then-President Donald Trump breached the U.S. Capitol as Congress sought to count the electoral college votes solidifying Bidenโ€™s victory as president.

ย

The Capitol Police are bracing for Saturdayโ€™s โ€œJustice for J6 rally,โ€ being planned by a nonprofit group led by former Trump campaign staffer Matt Braynard. The goal, Braynard has said, is to peacefully demand that charges against nonviolent Jan. 6 protesters be dropped. Braynard claims those protesters โ€œreasonably believedโ€ they had permission to enter the Capitol. About 700 rallygoers are expected.

On Monday, the House Judiciary Committee approved several provisions on immigration that Democrats are angling to include in a $3.5 trillion spending plan. Under budget rules, that overall package of legislation could be passed without Republican support.

Among their provisions, the proposals would allow several million undocumented immigrants โ€” including โ€œdreamers,โ€ who were brought to the United States as children โ€” to apply for permanent residency.
