Some important The Majority Report clips

Owen Jones then joins, as he and Emma reflect on the last seven months of constant scenes of devastation and genocide coming out of Gaza, and the mainstream media’s heart-wrenching insistence on downplaying the horror, denying the deaths, and running cover for Israel’s project of ethnic cleansing under the guise of victimhood.
Jones and Emma explore how the severe repression and propaganda from mainstream Western political institutions is seeing an en-masse public awakening to the genocide of Gaza, and the Western elites’ violent commitment to controlling the discourse, with supposed “liberal democracies” from the US to the EU and UK defaming anti-zionist Jews and anti-semites and uplifting actual racists and Jew-haters as legitimate actors.

Ole Miss Students Taunt Protester With Racist Abuse

If you go to the link as I did, you can see just how over the top old school 1950s / 1960s racist these people are.   I can not understand younger people in this day and age being so stupid as the use the slurs and name calling of fellow humans because of skin color.  Even worse the governor was supportive saying he was proud of the racists.  Republican Governor of Mississippi Tate Reeves also posted on X that the group of counter-protestors “warms my heart.”  Users on X reacted to the video of the students and Governor Tate Reeves’s proclamation of support for the counter-protestors:      This is the world that tRump inspired and help flourish in the US.  Hugs.  Scottie

Los Angeles Magazine reports:

A video was posted on X Thursday of a group of counter-protestors at the University of Mississippi — or Ole Miss — shouting and making monkey noises towards a Black woman who was part of a group protesting the war in Gaza.

Another bystander at the university uploaded a video of the students shouting “Lizzo! Lizzo! — in reference to the pop/hip-hop singer — and “f**k you fatass, f**k you bitch” to the same woman.

Republican Governor of Mississippi Tate Reeves posted on X that the group of counter-protestors “warms my heart.” The shocking video earned praise from Republican legislator Rep. Mike Collins, who posted the video and wrote “Ole Miss taking care of business.”

Ashton Pittman adds on Threads: “Hundreds of frat boys showed up to counter protest a small group of ~50 pro-Palestine protestors on the UM campus, with some frat boys throwing food, drinks and bottles at them. Others waved Trump flags and flipped the protestors off.”

I am old enough to remember when the republicans were all upset about wearing the American flag cause it was disrespectful

The hand wringing about the children….. while the children are forced to practice active shooter drills.

If that’s from 1962, JFK had to deploy 31,000 troops — federalized National Guard and airborne units — to contain it.

Jemele Hill: 1) What fraternity does he represent? That fraternity’s national leadership needs to be contacted immediately and that frat should be barred from campus.

2) We have recently seen endless conversations and action items created about antisemitism, but I’m guessing that same energy won’t be there to protect this open hostility directed at Black students.

That protestor has bigger balls than all of us combined. She will go on to do great things, things that require fearlessness

Why do angry men grab their dicks? So primal. Talk about apes.

Because beneath all the bravura they’re just a bunch of insecure boys checking to make sure their dicks are still there.

Because it’s frowned upon when I grab someone else’s in public

Monkey sounds to a black women… the South will always be full of hate and racism. I find it amusing how ‘proud’ the south is of their heritage. Any southerner reading this, never again ask why we think you are so stupid. You just are. And racism is alive and well. Disgusting corner of America.

There’s racism and bigotry everywhere. The Pacific Northwest, where I grew up, is a hotbed of white supremacist crap. Oregon was even established as a whites-only state, and to this day Portland is the whitest major city in the country. Even Vermont, with it’s reputation for crunchy hippie culture, has antisemites.

It’s the concentration of hate and racism bread into the South. It may exist all over, but do not compare the slave states to the north. It’s not even close. Idaho may as well be part of the south, that state is notorious for idiocy.

Some more out right Israeli government lies and Lies About Consensus In Jewish Communities Around Zionism

anti-protestor misinformation from the majority report and Vaush.

There is an incredible push to paint the pro-Palestinian protestors as anti-Semitic, anti-Jewish.  It is a desperate attempt to justify what the Israeli government is doing.  And media is allowing themselves to be used.  The protestors include Jewish students, and even one of the chief of police of one police department that was removing protestors at one college said the students were cooperative and peaceful, offering no resistance or violence.  The violence at the arrests are being done by the police and in one case the violence was started when the pro-Israeli groups showed up and attacked the protestors.  The campus security was overwhelmed and retreated and it took police far too long, hours before they showed up to protect the protestors and restore order.  The police wanted the violence and mayhem, they wanted the pro-Palestinian protestors injured.  History has shown other times this was done, protestors against the Vietnam War were treated this way, and Kent State was where college kids were gunned down by National Guard troops something the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson just called for now, the Iraq war started by the US protestors were treated this way.  The students have the right to protest, republicans don’t like that and have been pressuring the universities / colleges to stop / end the protests, or they will cut funding or some other punitive measure.  I don’t know if you will want to watch all of them, or do it the way I did and watch some over a few days while doing other things.   Hugs.  Scottie

Campus Protests: Beautiful Moments Vs. Trampling Of Speech

Going over some of the news, good and bad, coming out of the campus protests. Including what happened to Emory University’s professor of economics Caroline Fohlin, but also a beautiful speech given by an 88-year-old activist.

How They Taught Teen Boys About Their Private Parts in 1958. Would Schools Teach This Today?

A coach telling boys it is ok to masturbate and to call it rubbing themselves … wow those 1950s teachers were real groomers by standards of the Lib’s of TikTok. Mom’s of Liberty, and red state republicans.   Hugs.  Scottie

To me, this sex education high school film, which ran in thousands of schools across America back in the late 1950s, is perfectly reasonable. I saw something in school like it although I had already learned most of what it said from other boys in class talking.

But talking about sperm, ejaculation, the penis, having an erection, masturbation, about puberty in general and boys seems to me like in many schools in America today, they would not allow this conversation. I am interested to hear your comments on whether this is being taught in your child’s school.

Sex education in schools has been around a long time. Some parents and political leaders felt that it should never be taught in the schools. Some parents and political leaders today fear that has gone too far by teaching sex in such a way that alternatives to a man and a woman relationship are being discussed.

This is clearly a film for teenage boys in part because it just talks about the facts. No emotion. No other issues. I feel that even today, this is a manner of speaking that boys feel comfortable with.

In case you are asking, films for teenage girls talk about these issues such as a girls. In a completely different fashion and style. They were smart about that when they made these films.

I was a fairly shy teenager and did not kiss girls after a date until they kissed me. But I know that there were other boys in my class who are far more aggressive. as a teenage boy in the 1950s, I knew extraordinarily little about teenage girls and what their dating experience was like. If you are a teenage boy or a young man watching this, you have a lot more of a sense of what women are like then we did back then. If you are a teenage girl or young woman watching this, things I think have changed a great deal in terms of the ethics and morals this film is trying to convince teenage girls and boys to accept as the way things should be. I would be interested in comments on sexual mores today both in the United States and around the world and how they relate to what is being presented here.
