BREAKING: Fox News Anchor Chris Wallace to Join CNN+ in Industry Shocker (UPDATE)

CNN+ is set to bow sometime in the spring. It has quietly made some moves to bolster its roster in recent months, including the hiring of Kasie Hunt from NBC News. This, however, would be the splashy signing that has been missing to date. “I am thrilled to join CNN+,” Wallace said in the release. “After decades in broadcast and cable news, I am excited to explore the world of streaming. I look forward to the new freedom and flexibility streaming affords in interviewing major figures across the news landscape—and finding new ways to tell stories,” said Wallace. “As I embark on this adventure, I am honored and delighted to join Jeff Zucker and his great team. I can’t wait to get started.”

    1. Hello inspiredbythedivine1. I am not sure this is a good thing overall. He was the only reasonable voice on Fox for all that means. He had been there and was safer to buck the narrative. Now without his voice on Fox will anyone challenge the lies and misdirection of the Republican guests. I look forward to see if his political leanings change now on CNN. What bothers me is how far right wing CNN has gone and is going. Hugs

  1. One thing to consider is this is CNN+ — a streaming service rather than on-air broadcasting. The audience won’t be as widespread … although the news media may make sure they’re “informed.”
