  1. Yes, I read this. And I’m not in the least bit surprised. In fact, there is little doubt that this is just ONE MORE incident that was taking place “behind the scenes.”

    1. Hello Nan. It is becoming ever more clear that the attempt to keep tRump in power was well coordinated across government offices including the WH and Congress. I know Republicans are craving power and think only they have the right to hold office, but why do this for tRump? That is the thing that gets me. tRump was a baffoon, so why go to the attempt to make him a dictator? Why over throw democracy for him? There is a new story going around the back channels that Russia passed a lot of dirt / information of crimes by Republican elected officials and high ranking Republicans that tRump uses to keep these people fighting for him no matter how ridiculous they look. It is not unreasonable. We know Putin has at least two Republicans on his payroll Ron Johnson and Rand Paul. There are others that have retired, like Dana Rohrabacher. tRump is well known to be in with different crime mobs, as was his father. Remember that when Russia hacked the DNC they also hacked the RNC, but they only released the Democratic party ones. Are they using the rest for leverage. Scottie

      1. I most definitely agree that Trump is a buffoon, but he also, as you have indicated, has a lot of power “behind the scenes.” And he has no qualms about using it to his advantage.

The thing that continues to baffle me is how his “followers” are so swept up by his “buffoonery.” They see him as this god-like person who is on their side and is going to change the world to match their personal desires and goals.

        1. Hello Nan. I still think it has something to do with the fact he could do what they wanted to do and he could get away with it. He never gets called on the carpet for being racist, never sent to HR for being sexist, while he was president he never got kicked off social media for lying about shit or attacking others. They want to do that and be that. So he is their superhero. Sadly. But notice that now that he is not getting away with things he is not their hero so much. They even have booed him. The more reality sinks in the less they will listen to him, but to the tRump syndrome will be here for a long time to come I think. Scottie

          1. Yes, I agree. He is losing a bit of his “influence.” Now if we can just keep that ball rolling!

And, regrettably, I must also agree that he will be around a long time. I mean, consider how many years he was in the limelight BEFORE he ever became president! He definitely knows how to “work the crowd!”
