    1. Hello Nan. Right from when the election results were announced there has been a war for control of the party. Two leaders have emerged. Normally they would be the party leader of the Senate and leader of the party in the House. But in this case the House leader gave over his authority / power to tRump. So the leaders of the party are McConnell and tRump. Those two have gone back and forth trying to pull the party to their views. tRump has his emotional cult base, McConnell has his cunning, political power, and the big money donors. It seems McConnell is winning, and what hurts Don the con the most is most of the time McConnell refuses to even use tRump’s name.
