Hello Nan. Yes but you may have missed the point. The arrest and three days in jail was to scare other women who might try to self-abort. But that was discussed in the video. It was all about inducing fear and consequences for the woman and anyone else who might try it. What woman who needed medical help after something went wrong would go to the hospital or doctor if they think they will be arrested? So they will suffer and die which seems to be what the Republicans want.
