Please notice there are no military institutions and no threats coming from these cities hitting Russia. This is indiscriminate killing of civilians and the destruction of all forms of civilization to terrorize the Ukrainian people. Women and children killed in terrorist acts officially called a genocide. Are we going to allow this? Look Putin keeps giving ultimatums to the west. He is making the rules and just expects the west to follow them. How about the west make a few rules also that he will be just expected to follow? One of those is not indiscriminately killing civilians. Is Putin the only one that has the right to set conditions?

I totally agree that the situation is dire, but unfortunately, when it comes to “politics” the RED TAPE tends to block out any kind of TRUE assistance.
What disgusts me is the babbling by those in power about “war crimes, etc.” yet it seems little is being done to stop what’s happening. Apparently there are a plethora of “hoops” that must be jumped through before any action can be taken. Like I said … disgusting.

Hello Nan. I think I understand you point, and I agree. Here is what I see. The US is slowly sliding into this war deeper and deeper and while we are taking our time to get public opinion on the side of doing more Ukrainians are dying and suffering for our political timidness. We are now sending helicopters that are armed to Ukraine yet only weeks ago we refused to send aircraft because we worried Russia would take that as we were actively involved. We are actively involved, and Russia has acknowledged they know we are an active participant in the war. We are supplying arms and weapons, and other means for Ukraine to fight and kill Russians. There are Democrats publicly saying it is time for the US to act even if it is alone and send more US military equipment and US troops. If they are saying it publicly you know there are a bunch more that are pushing it and from both parties. We know that the defense industry wants the US to be involved enough for them to make money but not enough to stop the war in which their money flow would stop. So that is the real war in the western countries. But the US is involved and the US is slowly doing more and more but that is the US way. What did Churchill say about the US entering the war? The quote is now disputed but here is what is claimed he said.
I agree with you so much. The idea is getting lost is what is happening to those people. The cruelty of being offered an escape route only to have that route attacked while the people are fleeing. That is terrorism. It is designed to hurt and break people. I have read of the torture and rape of the people including children. Theat tears me up. There is no way anyone can justify that and our not doing everything we can to stop it. Several news organizations reported a kid with their teeth pulled out. Thankfully, they did not show it nor say why they thought the act was done. Maybe the kid’s parents were officials of the town or the Russians involved were just really sick people. But it doesn’t matter, it is just the knowledge that it is happening and we have the power to stop it. Why don’t we. Every second we wait more people die and suffer. Did you see where ex-CIA officer Nance who when he retired went to work for MSNBC as a consultant has suited up and joined the Ukrainian military as a fighter. He said he grew tired of just talking and felt it was time to do it.

Your point about the defense industry is scary! Especially since I tend to think it’s much too close to the truth.
