    1. Hello Nan. Turkey is threatening to block their entry into NATO. The EU and NATO have the same problem. Nations that were democracies joined and then turned back to authoritarian strong man near dictatorships. But neither group has a method to eject bad actors from the group. That is what happened to Ukraine joining NATO. The US did push for it. Some of the nations that have close ties to Russia objected, so we are in this situation we are in today. I hope it is just Turkey negotiating for something out of letting Finland and Sweden into NATO, but if it is to please his friend Putin we are screwed. Hugs
