    1. Hello Mistermuse. What surprises me is how quickly a large segment of the population sucks it up and believes them. I get so frustrated that the Republicans get away with all these asinine statements and conspiracy theories while at the same time any statement made by the Democrats are attacked so viciously by the rabid right that the left is almost scared to open their mouths. It seems the right thinks that only they should have a voice in US society, and they act on this belief to loudly and proudly intimidate everyone that disagrees with them. Hugs

    1. Hello Michael. Yes I think that light switch is very spot on and telling. I have gotten to the point where I am stunned that any rational person can look at the frequency of child abuse by clergy and think that letting their kids spent any time with these people is a good thing. The right claims if one Muslim does a bad act that all Muslims that don’t stand up to denounce it are as responsible. Yet they do not feel the same about Christian religious child molesters. I love the quote by Dan Savage on child sexual abuse. Hugs

        1. Hello Michael. I just posted how a Catholic group is trying to get people to check out LGBTQ+ books from public libraries so other people’s children cannot access them. It is not about keeping the books from their kids; it is about keeping the books from your kids. It is negating other parents’ rights to control what their kids see. It also is forcing their religious views of what is sexually acceptable on other people by a group that has a child molestation problem. Also these people would go crazy if you tried to keep that book full of smut and incest called the bible from their kids claiming it was dangerous myth and fable, yet feel they have the right to do it to others.
