Here in the PNW the local Chinook culture tribes lost their rights to exist back in the 20’s and are still fighting for government recognition today.

Hello Muttpupdad. It is a shame that the human race is so intolerant of other ways to live and be. The history of the Native People in the US and even how they helped shape our constitution is grand, until the white man wanted what they had, so tried to kill them all to get it. I hope we will someday grow to value other cultures and let people live their best lives as long as it doesn’t harm others. Hugs

Hello Jill. I agree. It is strange to me that greed and the wanting what another people have makes it OK for one group to kill off the smaller or more vulnerable group. Yet these ones taking from the others would consider themselves good people and maybe even pro-life? I hope someday we can all learn to live and enjoy sharing the best of all cultures with each other and be happy with diversity. Hugs

We could make this world a beautiful place, if only everyone … and I mean EVERYONE … would give up their delusions of grandeur, their notions of superiority, and accept everyone as having value. I’ve given up on that ever happening, but it doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying! If we stop trying, then we’ve already lost. Hugs
