This is the mind set so loved by the right wing in the US. This is the way the right wants to change the US to be more like Russia, a basic dictatorship of mostly poor people struggling to get by, while the wealthy seal from the public treasury to gain fantastic wealth, and the church supports the dictator because he lets them do as they wish.
