Hi Scottie;
Just a quick thought as I head out the door: I was thinking of Indiana and their … experiment…?… with banning needle supply to addicts with the intention of, I guess, forcing the addicts to no longer be addicted to drugs. (?)
There was, of course, a huge increase in AIDS, and the compounding and continuing disaster that comes from that both socially and financially.
I believe it’s called “the law of unintended consequences”.

Hello Randy. Yes very true. I recently saw a video where someone right leaning was using Portugal’s drug program to show that drug programs that give out needles and have a free place to use under medical supervision did not work. But that was a lie. It was a break down video by Vaush who like me does his research and he pulled the numbers and found out the program was a huge success when it was funded. For about $8 US dollar per addict deaths and drug related crime drop nearly 85% It was only when the government turned right and they defunded the program did the deaths and drug crimes go back to the previous numbers.
The right can only think in terms of slogans and moves that sound good while hurting those they don’t like. It is like claiming to be pro-life yet defunding school food programs for poor children. As one republican said, “Is it the responsibility of the state to feed other people’s children”? Well it is if you claiming to be pro-life yes it is the responsibility of the state. Any decent person would say yes it is the responsibility of government to care for the people’s wellbeing. Have a great day at work. The video I am talking about is below. Hugs

Amazing, isn’t it … that they want to “save” the unborn, but have no qualms about allowing mothers to carry fetuses that are destined to die.

Hello Nan. And many of these women lose the ability to have further children due to the damage to their reproductive systems. Women that want more children. Someone needs to explain to me how that is pro-birth or even how that increases the white race, which is a lot of what is pushing some right wing groups to fight to ban any abortion. Hugs
