  1. They put out their paper by deadline, though! 🙂 I also heard that they’ve gained many new subscribers, many digital, but that’s still money. I wish I could recall what I heard; it was on our news Monday. Today’s news is that their equipment is undergoing forensic examination, not to see if the paper violated the law, but to make sure the paper’s property has not been adulterated while in seizure. Their county attorney has said he sees nothing amounting to the necessity of the original warrant, so it’s been rescinded. The state bureau, the KBI, expects to give a full report soon, but doesn’t comment until they know what they need to know from all sides. That’s a status report. There could be a KBI report tomorrow; if so, I’ll get it here with a link. Thanks, Scottie! This is a heck of a story.
There’s also a heck of a local story, about our state rep not paying taxes on some of his property, those taxes owed being in excess of 100,000.00. He deeded it to the city Land Bank. I can post the links to the couple of stories about that, if anyone’s interested, but I think it’s just gonna die because IOKIYAR. People aren’t very happy about it though, so maybe someone will run against him for the next election.

    1. Hello Ali. Please keep me updated on the story. The fact that the warrant was rescinded doesn’t change what happened and that the name of the source of the tip about the police is now known to the same police. Those bells can not be unrung. I do hope the paper sues all involved. This was an illegal act that I doubt will ever be charged, but it should be. I think the DOJ should be involved. Hugs
