   1. Hello Roger. The thing is these asshole racist bigots don’t know the history or make up of the military. Since the days of the volunteer military it is the haven of the low income enlisted or the college educated seekers of higher office who felt being a military officer would look good as they run for congress, governor, or president. That means the military is largely made up of minorities and LGBTQIA people. By attacking the military for not being more white centrist (meaning racist) or for not allowing racist symbols and racist bigoted hate groups, they are driving minority people away from the military. Simply put, they are hurting recruitment themselves. Also history shows that during time of good economic performance recruitment is down, and during times of financial hardship recruitment is up. Plus military red states that are passing anti-reproductive rights, and anti-LGBTQIA laws are also hurting recruitment as military people those laws effect don’t want to serve in those states, and will leave the military if posted there. So the military provides relief for those people and help them fulfill their needs, medically and socially. Again by attacking the military establishment for doing that the republicans are driving down recruitment. But they don’t care about facts or reality, they want sound bites they can get played on right wing disinformation media as they are only government trolls in it for the fame and fortune. Hugs

         And since of number of Republicans are beating their chests and making much of ‘fighting’ for freedom….
         In very worst case scenario….
         Do they really want to piss off the Military?

         1. Hello Roger. Thank you. I would like to impose on you if you will allow me to. I just posted a post by Barry, who frequently comments here like you do. Could you add your voice to condemning the torture of children he wrote about? You reach people I never could, and this is important to me, and should be to everyone. The legal abuse of children for how they were born. I hope every reader of this blog will help push that this is happening, so it can be stopped. I was abused as you know, but beyond the sexual there was physical with pain being applied to see went I would break and grovel, beg to make it stop. And I did! I have learned in therapy to forgive my self, as everyone will break when hurt enough. With emotional abuse such as watching while forced to be silent as other siblings got to chose what I had been gifted at Christmas or birthdays after being forced to unwrap the present in front of everyone, as their own new gifts. It hurt so much because I had to unwrap it, it was addressed to me, it was great, and then … someone took it and I had to accept that. So the abuse of these neurodivergent kids this way makes me so upset, so angry … and that the US government allows it makes my head explode. I just hope my followers will also join in fighting this.
