According to a new report from the Daily Mail, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski have been having “a years-long clandestine affair.” The Republican governor has been married to her spouse Byron Noem for more than 30 years. Lewandowski has been married to his wife Alison for more than 15 years.
Kristi Noem has made family values central to her identity. She has received awards in the past for championing family values and attended the Iowa Family Values summit in 2021. Noem has also frequently railed against same-sex marriage, stating, “I am a strong supporter of protecting traditional marriage and family.”

Hello Roger. They worry too much about controlling what other people might be doing to even consider their own actions. Funny thing about fundamentalist right wingers, the thought someone else might be happy drives them crazy. And as you say, it is ok if you are a republican, but not acceptable if you are not. Hugs

Which actually is kinda, sorta the thing Jesus wanted his apostles to do, by being, well not sleazy amongst another things.

Hi Roger. The greatest religious people I knew lived their faith, not forced it on others. I have admired them and still do. In fact, I think my own life was saved by a wealthy Seventh Day Adventist farmer who had the idea I was being abused, asked me to work for him. He found me one day after a bad beating hiding on his farm. He negotiated with my adoptive parents to sent me to an SDA religious boarding school. He paid the full costs. That was when my beatings and sexual abuse stopped. I don’t know if he ever understood what doing that for me meant, he never mentioned it, never asked me to repay them. He even was willing to pay for me to go on to further education with the goal of being an SDA Pastor. Being gay, I knew I couldn’t do that, so went into the military. But I have always been grateful that he saved my life and gave me a future while showing me how people who really wanted to follow Christ would act. Hugs
