I read something similar to this recently, but it was even more ominous than this article. (Sorry, can’t recall the source. ) There’s absolutely NO doubt if this man gets elected that the U.S. will change, if not forever, at least until (and IF) a SANE person returns to the office. Of course, the scary part is if Trump manages to change the laws related to the office of POTUS, we may NEVER return to a democratic nation.

Hi Nan. Well said. I am of the opinion that if tRump gets into power, or if any of his sycophants do, democracy in the US is gone, done, dead. I have read too much on their pettiness, their egos, hell even this morning Rick Santorum, a former republican Senator and Governor on hearing the results of the rejection of republican abortion and the trans and LGBTQIA hatred of the right said that democracy is no way to lead a country or have a government. They mean that. They really don’t think the will of the people should be followed, but instead the people need to be ruled, told how and what they will do. It is scary the way these people think. And yes he is “highly religious” Hugs. Scottie

Hello Barry. You are very correct about that. I am more worried about democracy in my country than ever before. But there is this to consider, why do so many authoritarian countries try so hard to change the US to an authoritarian regressive country? It is because of our great economic engine and our bloated huge military. That is what they want. An authoritarian US pushing that agenda all over the world rather than democracy and equality.
