    1. Hello Suze. Yes I agree and yet so sure of himself. That is what so infuriates me. And these people like him, these fundamentalist Christian Nationalist who want everyone to live by their church doctrines / rules somehow got into power in a lot of states. Not only that in Texas we know that the billionaire pastor oil man has bought almost all the republicans to push the state into a theocracy pushing his version of moral correct by his god living. It will take decades to change anything church doctrine they manage to enshrine in the US laws according to their bigotry. Look at the SCOTUS, it has been taken over by theocrats pushing not the constitution but their version of biblical law. Alito went back to a 1600 year Catholic lawyer to base his decision on banning abortion rather than the US Constitution.

The real questions are how do we stop them from taking over as a minority having complete rule over the majority and second how do we get them out of office. Hugs. Scottie

    1. Hello Suze. I think we have to remember where the Rev is coming from. He has to hold himself to a higher standard, in order to lead his flock. Plus he has to try to talk his flock into taking the highest road / standards possible. I personally think it is a great ideal, but not one I feel bound by. Like you, I have been the target of the Tom Woods in my life, it has cost me greatly, physically, financially, and emotionally. I don’t feel I have to restrain my self in calling these people out. I will be nice to those nice to me, but my own wounds are too raw to turn another cheek to the same people that badly abused everyone I showed them in compassion / understanding. Hugs. Scottie

    1. Hi Ten Bears. Ah refreshing openness. I like your point. Why do we mince words? Why call assholes asshats? I have never been sure what an asshat is, as being a gay man in 2024 there are so many urban dictionary terms I either never heard or couldn’t have imagined.

Ten Bears, I don’t have an answer. Is it to fit in, trying to say something without offending? I am looking at why I used it, and the only reason is it was in the video.

There are two sides to this coin. Do we be open and insult others senseablilites with what actually the person doing asshole shit should be called knowing that will turn off a lot of our viewers / followers? Or face reality to call something what it is in the most plain language possible?

Do we have a duty either way? To be blunt or to be vague to reach as many people as possible?

Honestly Ten Bears, I don’t know the answer. I think I already know where you stand but would you like to expand that … please. It might make it easier for me to decide what I need to do going forward. Thank you. Hugs. Scottie
