Hi. I don’t think I could add anything more worthwhile than has been in the post and the comments. Please read this. We have to stop this hard push to turn the US into a theocracy. Christian religious sects are terrified at the decline in asses in the pews. It cuts into their profit, and churches are closing due to lack of people to attend services. They are desperate to indoctrinate kids as they know a bunch of them will stay in the church and give the church money. Hugs. Scottie

But if they’re getting church in school, they don’t need to go to church, which will be a relief to their hardworking families, many working more than one job per person, on Sundays.
Boy these particular religionists don’t think to far ahead, do they? Talk about majoring in unintended consequences.

Hi Ali. I read this morning that church attendance is still declining. To prevent that decline and to help reverse it the religious leaders / fundies think if they can convince the little ones that god is real and true, that only their god is real and true, and that they need to go to church and be hateful little bigots or go to bun in hell forever that the kids will drag mommy and daddy to church. It is all about keeping butts in the pews, which means more money and power for the church leaders. Hugs. Scottie
