Scottie, well done. There is a great museum in Bristol, TN/ VA where country music got its recorded start. The Carter Family was one of three acts that answered an ad to come try out and were signed to a contract. Maybelle Carter could play a guitar with what became known as the “Carter Clutch” where she perfected playing rhythm and melody at the same time. She learned this method from a black man in the mountains of VA. Keith

Thank you Keith. Thank you for that tidbit of information. I grew up on Johnny Cash, whose second wife was June Carter. That was a very talented family she came from.
I am dumb founded by racism and the thinking some people are automatically inferior because of the color of their skin. If you peel the skin away regardless of the exterior color we are all the same species, human. Hugs. Scottie
