Rule by gang thugs violence and threats. Make everyone feel unsafe to even question the right or the cult Dear Leader. These people are a small number of our public, but they are vocal, and they are willing to use violence, hurt others, break the laws to get their way. They are the brownshirts of 1930s Germany, and the Proud Boys admit they are trump’s army. The rest of us must not let this be the new normal. They are teenage bullies just like their boss. The addresses and phone numbers of former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s family members were posted to a doxing website after presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felonies in connection with a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election.
Phone numbers and addresses for Cohen’s wife and children were posted early Monday morning on a site that has been used to target other figures involved in Trump’s various legal issues, according to the group Advance Democracy, a non-profit research group.
Trump supporters attempted to dox jurors last week. During the trial, the mother of a former police officer who was nearly killed on Jan. 6, 2021, by rioters who believed Trump’s lies about the 2020 election was swatted after her son called Trump “an authoritarian” with “a violence fetish.”

One time my addicted son told us that he owed some dealers money and they knew where we lived and were threatening to come and shoot up our house. Years later, I recognize this as a probable lie, but at the time it was terrifying to know that someone who wished me harm knew where I lived.
I feel for Cohen’s family and the jurors who will no doubt also be doxxed.

Hi Susan. I am sorry for what you, your family, and your son went through. Addiction is horrible and hard to recover from. Sadly for most people they are always struggling, tempted, and just a few inches from falling off the sobriety wagon. To address the doxing, that is what the right now thinks qualifies for civil discussion. There is a large portion of the right, especially the right wing media hosts, that are gang thugs and endorse gang mob rule. I hate it but I can’t change it. The only way to change what is happening, this mob take over of the US and return to the more progressive or at least more enlightened time is to vote in large numbers for a better society. And I understand why this is happening. A shocking number of fundamentalist Christians and maga type republicans pulled their kids from public school and home schooled them, or but them in weird fringe private schools. I have a person I have been talking to in the comments who is hard right maga and has trouble understanding things. He repeats right wing media talk hosts talking points like they are verified facts. He can’t accept reality when I correct him. I finally got him to admit he was pulled out of school and has no real schooling. But those young adults vote religiously. Our side the young adults are just now starting to value voting and right now they are seriously pissed off at Biden so they may not turn out of vote. Hugs. Scottie
