Hi Ali. I agree. Plus I want to add I am sorry not to be commenting on your posts, but it takes me 4 to 6 hours on the Male Survivors site to respond to stuff, then one member wants long written letters back and forth, plus two members want voice or message chats one needs voice chats of more than an hour to more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. I try to cut it off and they say yes I understand but one more thing, or but can I ask this. It is 3:46 and I know after spending time with Ron have time to get to comments and posts. I normally go to bed by 6 PM or a some earlier or some later. So that is why I feel so damn over stressed and why I am glad you and Randy are posting even if I don’t get to see them.
Who do I short here is the question I ask? My friends on the blog who I love? Or damaged people who need my affirmation that also triggers my own abuse memories, at least one who is so damaged he needs to reach out to me two to three times a day for at least an hour at a time. Sorry did not mean to dump my problem on you. Hugs. Scottie

Hi Ali. Seriously you have been a huge benefit. If I had your faith I would say you have been a godsend. Before you and Randy agreed to post I was thinking of closing or putting the blog on hold. Also I never thought to get sucked into the Male Survivor website as I had. The admin wants me to do more but I don’t want to. But I do share my abuse, and have people who were also abused who relate to it, understand it, and what to talk to me. And just as I want to respond and reply to every comment on the blog I do there also, but those people want to do video and audio chats off site. So I am getting up at 1 or 2 am to try to be up for it all and falling exhausted into bed at 4 or 5 pm without ever getting to stuff I wanted to do on my blog. It is like I have a second blog. I am trying to put brakes on the other site, after all is not mine, but those are hurt people like I am who need attention. Far more attention than I can give alone. I am struggling to set time limits on them but Ali, when one of them says they just can’t unless we talk about XX or they … How do I break away? How do I leave them alone. Ron has taken to asking me for daily updates on my time there on that site and how it is going. Hope this explains the quagmire I am in. Hugs. Scottie

It does explain, and I understood before. I cannot lighten that load for you, other than you knowing you have my full support as you make your decisions. But I did hope that not worrying about me would lighten your load.

Hi Ali. To explain more of my problem, two more people on the survivor site want my attention. I guess I must be a good listener or something. I have someone who I have to talk to twice a day or they freak out, I have two more people wanting chat conversations that can last a couple of hours. I am only getting to the blog now at 2 in the afternoon after being up at 1 am. Ron just ordered two medium pizzas so I have something to eat before I fall asleep, he knows how much I love pizza. One guy on the site is now asking if he can visit us. With our situation it is a big hassle, and we don’t have a spare bedroom in our broken home so he would have to sleep on an air mattress. Yet to tell him no would feed into his belief that no one really cares about him. Plus my own issues that I am trying hard to handle. Anyway, I do thank you and I am sorry I have not been to your posts. I really wish I had time to do so. But on a good note Ron told me to buy the microphone I wanted for a few years to do recordings. So it cost $106 dollars after tax, but he thinks the joy I get and the feedback from doing videos is so good he is supportive of it. Thanks again. Hugs. Scottie
