Israel is trying it’s dampest to start a wider regional war knowing the US will be obligated to join on their side. The are the little brat who picks on the other kids knowing that they can’t hurt him because his older brother protects him from them. Israel is an abuser and making the US an complicit in it. Hugs.   1. The power to declare/go into war resides in the US House. Time to write the congresscritters.

    (I know; but it’s doubtful the majority can put anything together, so taking up their time with correspondence demanding to keep US military out of this mess of Netanyahu’s won’t hurt.)

    1. Hi Ali. Sadly the congress gave the power of war to the president some time in the Bush admin. But even before that the law allowed the president to wage war for 30 days before going to Congress. However as to writing congress, until we get a solid democrat majorities in congress writing them won’t do anything. Hugs. Scottie.

      1. They did that time, but I was thinking they removed that from the NDAA this last time. They also can take that back any time, as well as refuse to fund.
        I’m sorry you feel that way about writing the ‘critters; it does me little good, other than both me and Rep. Estes know that I wrote him, and what about. They don’t like knowing that we see them, and if we don’t tell them, well. It makes it all easier on them. Just my .02.

        1. Hi Ali. Sorry I did not mean to suggest that calling the congress critters was useless. But for me a democrat in red Florida with republican reps it is nearly useless. I know I tried hard with Rubio and did not even get a reply, I had to leave a message. No one contacted me. Anyway I am glad you tried. Hugs. Scottie
