Hi Janet. Yes we did, we always do. Ron admitted he was clueless and not paying attention / understanding what was happening. We kissed and made up like the school kids we still are.
I figure I have about five more years with these computers, and then I will have to find a way to buy new ones. Not looking forward to Windows 11. But these still do what I want them to, if sometimes slower than I like. Hugs. Scottie

I’m one of those people who took one look at Windows 11, and noped out. I installed Ubuntu Linux, and downloaded a copy of Windows 10, which I run in a virtual machine. When I recently bought a new computer, it arrived with Windows 11. I installed the latest Ubuntu (dual-boot) and still run my Windows 10 VMs on the occasions when I need Windows.
Unfortunately, I have to use Windows for work. But for my personal use, everything is Ubuntu. I know that’s not an option for everyone, but it works for me. I left the pre-installed Windows 11 on the machine because it’s Dell, and the firmware updates are done via a Windows app. I’ve booted over to Win 11 maybe twice since I got the machine back in May.

Yes I was so over it already. It is different if I am getting paid for it. But I am tired of screwing with my own computers for a small advantage now that will make a large advantage later. Hugs. Scottie
