At least nine U.S. citizens across three Texas counties were incorrectly labeled as noncitizens or removed from voter rolls because they did not respond to letters asking about their citizenship.

But it still matters to the ones who were purged, who may be legitimate voters who now have to go through expensive-to-them and time consuming hoops to be able to vote by next month.
Of course the TX government is inflating its tough guy image. But compared to what they’ve done to the people they did purge, well.

Hi Ali. I listen to a morning podcast while I get ready and shower. It is normally 15 minutes or half hour long. The first part is news, sometimes they have interviews like every Friday is with John Fugelsang who I have posted on here before. The name is the daily beans and is run by a woman with often a co-host of another woman when both are able to do so. They are progressive and very informative. Please check it out, a lot of what I learn news wise comes from them. Lucky for me I have a waterproof speaker tied to my phone I take into the shower, but that is because of my own issues.
They mentioned this morning that some state to knock thousands of people off the voting rolls far more than needed to sway the result under the claim that they were not citizens, but the follow up showed 2/3 of them were US citizens in areas that vote for democrats. They know they are unpopular and their plans are not what the people want so instead of changing to serve the people they decided to take their right to vote away so they can rule over everyone.
