Hi I woke at 12:30 am and the cat Tupac was yowling. I thought he wanted food. But he only wanted attention. So I was now awake and dressed, sometimes I just put on my shoes as I don’t mind being nude in my home, but when I put down food for him … he went back down the hall meowing for me to follow him.
So long story short, I have been up since 12:30 am and after talking to Ron about supper I somehow got roped into making a red tomato sauce with the fixings. I may be back later. Ok I admit it may be a bit my mistake … I wanted some. But he did do a few pounds of meat and other things like mushrooms and beef and peepers and onions. Hugs and loves.
Sounds like a pasta night? Mmm.

Hi Ali. Oh what a disaster the pasta turned out to be. The sauce was wonderful if a bit too meaty for my taste. But we opened the first box of spaghetti noodles, dumped them into the bowling water only to see black spots rise to the surface. Yup bugs. So Ron threw that batch away and washed the pot. The same thing with the next two boxes. We ended up having elbows with the sauce.
Ron went to the store he got the spaghetti from and told them. They refused to do anything and couldn’t care less. When he asked to talk to the manager he was told the assistant manager was there and that person was like, so what. Needless to say we bought a sealed bag of spaghetti and tried them today. No bugs. We will use that company from now on. Hugs

Ugh. What a disappointment. Personally, I find elbows to be interchangeable with spaghetti, unless it’s angel hair, but I could be weird like that. I’m glad you found some that is not infested. It’s so hard, hoping for supper, and going back to the store because their food was no good, especially when you’ve nothing to show them. sigh
