    1. Hi Janet. In this case the judge is still trying to impose what little justice is left. He is trying to split the baby that the SCOTUS ruling created. They created a rule that nothing can interfere in any way with the glory of the most powerful president in the world even by being an emotional / mental annoyance. At least the most powerful according to the SCOTUS. Other nations may choose to differ but the SCOTUS sees the president as a king like figure, the male over lord of the home, the master all others obey. So the judge in the case has two choices, rule to unconditional discharge the case preserving the conviction for all time just with no punishment, or holding the sentencing until the end of tRump’s term. The first tRump doesn’t want because it locks in his convictions, the second the SCOTUS will not let stand due to it being a burden on the brow of their dear leader lord tRump. Hugs

  1. That i a living, breathing example of Wilhoit’s law. It’s also spreading from here like ripples in a pond. In South Korea the impeached President who briefly declared martial law because he’s a terminally online conspiracy theorist was able to prevent his arrest on charges today in a standoff with authorities. He’s cited the SCROTUS decision that Trump is above the law in his own case.

    1. Hi Bruce. I also think that law applies to most of the people in the US right now. It was fighting against Wilhoit’s law that caused such a backlash to Obama and the surge of maga thug cultist of tRump. Did you notice that in the South Korea president’s case he ordered the military to shoot their way into the voting chambers to stop the vote against him? The military refused. That is why tRump is pushing so hard to purge the US military and install his own cultist members in the highest ranks. Hugs

  2. Hi Scottie;

    Consider: Before Trump I believed that though justice could be bought, all were subject to the law. What I mean by that is that some have the power to get away with crime, that was by use of illegal manipulations. What this has done is to open the door that some people are not accountable to the laws of the country. For NOW, it is but one who is officially untouchable. But, that will be expanded upon. Others will be thought to be too “important” to be held accountable, it is only a matter of time.

    So, what is next? What other crimes is he not to be held accountable? What other laws no longer can effect him? If he is not to be held accountable, it is no leap to believe he will commit other crimes, other over-reaches. A third presidential term? A hierarchical royalty? Martial law and the suspension of the constitution? He’s already threatened that. Perhaps a nuclear tipped temper tantrum?

    Lyndsey Graham said that electing Trump to office will be the end of the Republican Party. He was right. It is also now evident that he is to be the impetus of the end of the very Republic. Again, only a matter of time.

    1. Hi Randy. Your questions terrify me. Yes he is going to commit more crimes, he can not stop. He is craven. He craves money and he is not wealthy, so he grifts. And the biggest grift he ever had was the presidency. He has already started with demanding million dollar contributions to his inaugural ceremony. Questions on where the money went for his first one are still unanswered. Huge sums were paid to people for things they had no qualifications for and were not delivered on. He raised 107 million the first time, a record then, but I think something like 50 million is accounted for. The rest is gone. This time he is trying to raise 150 million … you decide if you think this is all legal. I am very worried about the near future in the US friend, very worried. Hugs.

  3. Only because I’m a former para and judges’s courtroom assistant, probablymaybe we wait to see what the sentence is? Even if this news outlet’s prediction is correct, that doesn’t erase the convictions, and the record will stand forever. There is some justice in that.

      A pale, ghostly whiff of ‘justice’…what does he care that he has a ‘record’?

      He holds all the various criminal proceedings against him as a badge of honor and persecution for his martyr complex. It only makes his cult revere him more “They fear me so much they keep trying to put me in jail”

      If you or I had done the most miniscule fraction of the crimes he’s committed we’d be in the federal graybar hotel.

      1. Agreed. But.
        The law still matters, though, if we make it matter. Nothing’s going to hurt the Don; he’s got no conscience. Vengeance might make some of we the people feel a little better about it, but not for long. But the record will stand forever, as do his malfeasance and crime.
        Well, unless we get departments and ministries of misinfo-“Truth”-and such. Which I hope we don’t, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

      2. Hi Bruce. I disagree. He has fought tooth and nail to stop this sentencing from cementing his convictions. It locks in for all time that he is the only US president to be a convicted felon! That stings him. He can never erase that. It burns him like silver to a werewolf. He will always see that next to his name in history and that bothers him more than anything. His image is his only selling point for his brand. He is terrified the public will see him as a crook, a felon. That is really more punishment than a fine could bring. In truth there was never a chance he would face jail time, the Secret Service couldn’t have it. It would have been home confinement at most. But when a small majority of the US population let lies blind them to the reality and the cult pushing him to victory as the next president there was nothing the judge could do. The SCOTUS run by old highly religious ideologues wanted to stop the advancement of society in to a progressive future and return it to a regressive past basically gave tRump, and according to the wording of the ruling only tRump a complete pass from most laws. It seems with this last rejection of his petition some of the justices are changing their minds on that prior ruling. I wonder how many threats and misinformation went into the first one. But the point is he hates that he is now and forever a felon. A convicted lawbreaker. Hugs

    2. Hi Ali. I agree. I think what most people see is tRump again getting away without being held to the same justice / legal standards the rest of us are. Yes much has been made that the decision makes it clear the verdicts will stand … for now. But how many people with 34 felony convictions can say they did not get any punishment. I think he should at least get fined or have to pay something, he does claim to be a billionaire. But the SCOTUS ruling said nothing could trouble the brow of the US president as it might cause them to not be “an aggressive forceful fully over powering never hesitating force of nature”. Like that is what the world needs out of the US President. Hugs
