A small conservative group in Lancaster, Ohio targeted local businesses and institutions that were LGBTQ+ friendly in response to an annual family-friendly pride event that held an outdoor drag show. When the group failed to get the city to penalize drag performers—and ban drag altogether—they then circulated a boycott list. Local business owners, however, were not harmed by the boycott. In fact, they saw a major influx in traffic after people drove from out of town to support the businesses after seeing them on the anti-LGBTQ+ boycott list.

What these conservatives seemed to have forgotten / not thought of /overlooked is that some 70,000,000 million folk are awfully sore about the presidential election result and will do anything to upset such hateful antics just to prove a point.
It’s called passive resistance yo-yos. You and the rest of the unholy Court of Trump are gonna have to get used to that in the years ahead.

Hi Roger. Hope you are well. Yes the maga and tRump cult are getting a lot of wake up calls that are not sitting well with them. Yet they take no responsibility for believing his lies, refusing to listen to the truth of the ones that wanted to really help them, and worse now they just throw their hands up saying well nothing we can do to change anything. They don’t want to work to fix anything or make anything better, now they will simply move to blaming a new democrat / left person for all their troubles. Just like they seem to think the powerless desperately poor immigrants asking for asylum are the cause of all their problems in their lives. It is going to be a long four years. Hugs

A revolution without focus or exact thought-out agenda.
This will end in downfall. Even if Trump and the Court were able to change the number of terms he can serve…he’s going to die some day, and then there will be a serious squabble which will mark the final end.
Though I would suggest it’s going to happen long before that. No true focus.
Even China arguably one of the most focused nations on the world stage has its own serious internal problems, some social some economic.

This reminded me of a Chinese maker and her fabulously sexy 3-D printing adventures. I’ve seen videos as simple as her 3D printed solution to make it easier to clean around the electric cords her house and shop are full of, to showing off by running one of her printers in a backpack as she roams her city, and let’s not forget her miniskirt with uplighting that she wore to a 3D printing convention. That last one had her accused of claiming credit for someone else’s work.
So I googled her. Didn’t expect the first result to be on YouTube’s uneven handling of cardboard models vs. men’s higher resolution work… 0.40 through 1.45 show her comparisons.

Hi MDavis. Thanks for the video. I stopped it at 3 minutes 30 seconds. But I got the parts you were talking about with the difference in guys showing female parts in high def while suffering no negative consequences while she was demonetized by doing a low res of the same things. I have to say I never understood the weird way that our US society views the human body and sexual stuff. They act like it is the most dangerous thing ever discovered the nude human body and gasp touching your own body parts. Stupid and silly.
Now that I said that … what is with the over large breasts on that woman. I mean anyone can do what they want with their own body, but that has to be painful for her back to stand upright with all that front weight. Damn! I suffer from bad back pain needing me to take a lot of strong medications. But that has to be tiring and painful. Does she have a stand or try to rest them on when moving around? She seems to be a small woman otherwise so … wow talk about unusual body modifications. Hugs

Turns out it is the end result of a series of body modifications. She goes into it in quite a bit of detail and I learned a lot from watching the rest of the video after I posted the link here. I’m pretty sure that’s a violation of internet etiquette, oops.
Turns out she was conceived during China’s era of allowing ONE child per family. Her parents weren’t allowed to be married until they conceived a BOY so that his parents knew that their son would have a son to take care of him in his old age – Chinese cultural thing, assuming a girl would take care of her husband’s family.
So, third conception, after first two tested “girl”, mom just said it was a boy so they could marry and get on with it. They were going to come clean when she was born but… long story short, she ended up being raised as a boy until she was in her early teens. When she went off to school and was befriended by her dorm-mates when they figured it out, she went overboard. She did the modifications and dresses kind of crazy because, she says, it makes her feel happy.
Later in the video she gets into differences between Chinese and Thai gay/bi culture and terminology. I didn’t even realize she was gay until I watched the video – didn’t care, really.
Anyway… she seems to be off the air, with no new videos for a couple of years. Allegedly she dropped out of posting when she criticized Chinese censorship. Ironic, if true, being censored for challenging censorship. I do hope she’s OK. She was so amazing as a maker that she was put through a period of being attacked for being the front for a MALE maker because no female could be that good, especially one who dresses like THAT.

Wow MDavis. Thank you for filling in the details. It is an interesting grand story, one I would love to see a movie made of. So she was trans from birth without understand that she was, a girl raised as a boy from birth … until he / she hits a boarding school. What were the parents thinking, the first time in a boy’s dorm bathroom (my high school boarding dorms had large bathrooms with urinals, a few stalls, and a large room with shower heads all around the room where everyone showered nude together. Really hard for me and the few other gay boys to keep from having boners but as the straight boys did also it went unnoticed)
So this girl gets outed and then goes on a lifetime journey to find the girl inside her. I can understand that, and appreciate it. I will put the video in my YouTube channel list to watch later. Thanks again. Hugs
