“A Brilliant Ray of Light”

  1. Hi. I love humming birds. We used to have a feeder for them in West Palm Beach. We carefully used the proper food for them rather than useless sugar water that many do. We are talking maybe putting bird feeders up as the entire room is made of very large windows. When I move in to it I will try to post the picture. But the birds we have are large crows and mocking birds. They have driven away all the pretty birds we had before. So it is still up in the air if I put up feeders or flowers. And Ron mentioned butting a small flower garden out in the grass area to draw birds and give color. I might place a large pot of sunflowers out there? Hugs

    1. Well, crows can be good friends and allies. I agree aren’t special like humming birds, but they are good to have around, in my opinion. DH cannot stand them, and calls them grackles, but he’s not mean to them. He doesn’t like feeding certain birds. I like feeding them all, because of their songs. We’re all different! I bet if you mix feeders and flowers, you’ll get some humming birds back, as long as the kitties don’t try to play with the humming birds! :-)🐦

      1. Hi Ali. We get murders, the term for groups of crows in the 100s and up to the thousands when they move in the sky. We had to stop feeding the outside cats outside because the crows would come down in mass and force them away from the food so they could have it. They used to sit on the edge of the house next door and scream when we moved the dishes inside the Florida room for the cats. Ron likes Crows, but to me they are nasty opportunist republican creatures I dislike. Hugs
