This Mother Instantly REGRETS VOTING TRUMP

Yes I know I just posted four clips from this young man, but this one spoke to me.  It tells the story of a young woman who did not want to vote for tRump, but bought into his lies.   Then she was a casualty of Elon Musk the unelected supper president.  She lost everything she had hoped for.  But it is too late.   Please watch the video as it really shows the thinking of a lot of people who voted for tRump not realizing he was constantly lying to them.   Hugs.

  1. BS. (Not the messengers Scottie and the video host!) Republican voters knew at least some of what was going to happen if Republicans ran the government again. They were not duped. If how they’re defending themselves is true, then instead of crying about it, they’ll join us to stop what they brought about. But, it’s the same thing as Republican voters crying and apologizing for their votes after leaving the movie “Fahrenheit 9/11.” They knew at least some, they just thought it might be OK. But a lot of those people turned around and joined the Democratic party and/or other organizations working to stem the damage.

These voters’s whining does no one any good. Let them prove themselves by helping us.

      1. Nope. I’ll still feed ’em when they need, and do what I can, but I don’t want to hear anything from them except that they’re joining us to stop the Republicans.

      2. Hi Shelldigger. I was not expressing sympathy at all. I feel like you and Ali that they could do more and I think they should suffer for the shit they caused. The only time I will have a good word for them will be as Ali says, when they join us in fixing all the problems tRump and his crew are causing. I just want to understand know how these people could be so clueless and believing of tRump’s lies. I had hope to have conversation on that. Is it the media they watch, is it that they are stupid, how do they not understand that everything tRump claimed / said was a lie and not possible? Please read the reply I wrote to Ali as it explains what my reasoning for posting it. Hugs.

        1. Yes, I do believe it is the propaganda outlets that masquerade as news, social media networks, right wing radio, all of it, that is poisoning their minds. They have made stupid contagious. The other alternatives, these people are really that gullible, they cannot see the con, or are at heart, neo nazis.

Whatever it is, they are still drinking the kool-aid that got them there.

          1. I think they voted Republican because they feel the same way about other people as Republicans do. These voters only thought what they want to happen to others could happen to them. Sort of an instant karma.

I’m not saying they have these bad things coming anymore than any of the rest of us. But, they thought others ought to suffer these consequences, thinking they themselves would not.

    1. Hi Ali. I agree. And I think you missed the point of why I posted it. These people wanted to believe tRump’s constant lies. Even though they were told it was a lie if they followed any media other than the right wing hate media arm of the Republican Party. I am trying to figure out how anyone could believe the over the top impossible to do. Things like bring all prices down day one, end war day one, deport an ungodly number of people every day, and so much more. What ever the issue of the day tRump promised it was Biden’s fault and he could fix it easy. I can see cult members doing that. But this woman did not want tRump but she voted for him thinking he would do what Biden and Kamala were doing already. How did she not know that the Christian nationalist republicans in congress had tried repeatedly to outlaw IVF, the very thing she says made here give the government to republicans? How can these people have been so clueless. The democrats really dropped the messaging ball. And where is the outrage from these people as tRump does the opposite of the lies he promised. Prices did not go down, they are soaring. That is what I am trying to understand and get a conversation going. Hope you are doing well. Hugs

      1. It wasn’t the Dems, they just don’t get coverage, we the people didn’t back them up, and people who aren’t Dems don’t pay attention to Dems. Even network tv acknowledged out loud on the air that while Trump was saying IVF would be protected under him, Republican legislators and Project 2025 people and other rightwingers were stating that IVF was over because of the waste of embryos. It was there. If those voters are so sorry, let them suck it up the same way the rest of us are, and join us to fight them. They get no more than human empathy from me, and an expectation that they will do better. It really appears that they’re only sorry they got caught up in what they voted for to happen to others they don’t like.

It’s been kinda stressful here; work on the house is ongoing, plus a plumbing problem that got solved last evening. But some things never stop, as you know! I hope things are well down there, too. And I hope whatever weather we end up with here overnight doesn’t make it down there! It could get feisty.

        1. Hi Ali. Ron calls it management by crisis. Sorry to hear the house remodel is distressing you. I fully understand plumbing problem. At 5 am this morning neither Ron nor I could sleep. So we talked about the projects. He mentioned he thinks he is going to remove all the PVC plumbing down there that he can under the small bathroom he is gutting to rebuild from scratch. He is going with that flexible tubing that seems so popular now. This morning I have a doctor’s appointment in an office about 45 minutes drive from here. But the doctor is worth it. While I am gone Ron is going to finish taking up the rest of the entire flooring. He is 70 and needed to take a few days off. I also needed a rest. We found a vinyl tile we like a lot for that room. It is a white marble with light swirls. It will go great with the blue walls and white shower / cabinet / white new toilet.

As to the low information voters, those that only get their news from social media and Facebook. Those people who don’t read papers watch or listen to much news. They see clips. They run on emotions, not facts. They feel like this is correct or that is wrong but don’t bother with looking up the facts or checking. So what clips have they seen?

They see clips of republicans yelling at news hosts and talking over them, claiming what the interviewer said is a lie. They see tRump spouting nonsense lies and misinformation with the complete confidence of someone who is sure they are correct. On the other side they see clips of older democrats who care barely raise their quavering voice to be heard. They see Chuck Schumer saying slogans from 40 or 50 years ago that modern people can not relate to or hear him cough while trying to chant “we will win, we will win”. They see Minority Leader of the House Hakeem Jeffries give interviews where he speaks in soft measured tones, a calming near whisper repeating the phrase “you got to remember the democrats have no power to do anything” which is not true. When the republicans were in the minority they gummed up the works and screamed from every microphone. The only two people I have heard speak forcefully and repeatedly are AOC and Bernie Sanders. There must be others but I don’t see the clips of them on podcasts or social media. And I do a lot of both.

So how do people who run on emotion feel about republicans and democrats. They see the republicans as strong and decisive, and the democrats as weak and unable to do anything. Strategists like James Carvel who last was effective with Bill Clinton and constantly complained about Harris strongest moves is push the idea that democrats should stay quiet and let people get just get sick of tRump. How is that working out so far for the people or the party. He and his wife are multimillionaires. They have time and ability to wait. The rest of us don’t. The average voter is low information running on emotion of how they feel. And unless the democrats get out there and show some strength and that they are not dying dinosaurs they will be just that, a dying party. Hugs

          1. Exactly. And those voters vote for what they want to happen to other people. So when they’re sorry they did that, they’re really only sorry it happened to them, as well.
Carville’s old enough, he may live through all of whatever happens, but my guess is he’s glad he’s old! I know I’m glad I’m old.
Dems get out there, but for people to know it, people have to look for it themselves. That’s the thing: both righties and so many lefties stay with their own info, and both of those media cut down Dems as weak and uncaring. A true case of both sides. That means people like us have to show them the actual, which means we have to look beyond lefties who just want it all burnt down, and get the information about Dems working that low info voters need. People tend to know what they want to know.

            1. Hi Ali. And we do. Bu we have to realize that perception means a lot. In poll after poll found that people found Biden weak with tRump strong. I am only saying our side needs to project some strength And I just got that affirmation of that today on the Majority report where polls showed that democrats that spoke out were doing better, plus the party has had so many calls to do something, they are now taking a proactive stance. It is validation of what I have been saying. Hugs. Scottie

        2. Hi Ali. An example of what I feel we need democrats to be doing is the video I put up of Bernie Sanders’ reply to the lies and misinformation spewed by tRump during the address to a joint session of congress. I wish I could see more of these from other democrats. Hey just a thought, if you come across one, you could post it or send it to me and I could. Hugs

          1. 😉 I usually post Dems doing great things here! I’ll just try to keep it up. Some days, well, you know. Non-blog stuff claims the day.

            1. Ali I so understand that about non-blog stuff. I have taken on a much greater role in the house so Ron can concentrate on the construction projects but it takes a huge toll on me. As you know my health is not well and gets shaky sometimes. Some days I just don’t feel up to doing anything with the blog. I struggle even to watch videos or look for memes, much less feel strong enough to make a post. It was when I realized I couldn’t do five posts a week that I asked you and Randy to also be authors. I am amazed at how great a job you both have done. I think that was the best thing I could do for the blog and for me personally.

Can you see the stats on the blog? The blog is getting great stats, many views, lots of likes, and comments. I thank you and Randy for the work you do here. Should I ever not be able to do it, I will hand over administrator privileges to both of you. Should have done it from the start, but when I had my stroke I thought I would rebound fast. It did not happen the way I thought it would. I tire so easily and get worn out so fast. Doing the dishes from the day before wears me out and causes me so much pain that I need extra medications. Ron has taken to doing the dishes after I go to bed so I can’t do them the next day. Anyway enough bitching about things from me. We have a country and world to save. Hugs

              1. I think you guys should let the cats do your dishes, then rinse the dishes in the morning and use them again.
