Kansas has a case reported (so far,) too. It’s in the KC area, so likely from traveling as there’s an international airport. Also no way to know about exposure chances, so there’s that. sigh
Freakin’ measles. What a country.

Hi Ali. Second try as the WordPress monster ate my first one. I don’t get the goal of the anti-vaccine people. Maybe it is because I am old enough to remember the relief and joy our parents had when we could be vaccinated. I remember the little sugar cube with the blue dot on it helping protect us from polio. I remember being in a row of us little kids getting the large many needles shot that caused the circular scar on our shoulder.
I worry about these people’s children and the children of those around their children. Do these parents denying the vaccines to their kids realize how selfish they are being demanding that schools remove vaccine requirements? The goal is to get enough people vaccinated to protect those who can not get vaccinated. I bet every parent of a kid who can not be vaccinated wishes they could. How many kids must die or be maimed for life for these people to wake up. Millions of people dying from covid did not do it, mass shootings of kids in schools did not do it, just what will reach these people? Or maybe the loss of one child, their child will be enough? Hugs
