Hi Roger. I realize what the reverend is saying, the kingdom of god is not on earth but in heaven. But I have to admit I would love a country based on the teachings of Jesus alone, not including the hateful parts of the bible. Hugs

Matthew 23 v 27-28
27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
Or:
Matthew 9 v 7-8
You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: ‘
These people honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.’
Explain your way out of those guys who claim to be Christians. You going to argue with the words of Lord Jesus Christ?

Hi Ali. As I told Roger. I understand what the Reverend is staying that the kingdom of Christ is in heaven. But also wouldn’t a country based only on the teachings of Jesus the Christ be wonderful. Forget every other hateful angry part of the bible and think only on the kind loving teachings of the man who hated no one and seemed to love all. Hugs
