Hi Roger. Great quote. There is blood on his hands. And tRump is finding out his giving everything to Putin he wanted is not enough to get Putin to even agree to a cease fire. Putin wants what he thought he would get from the start of the invasion. The total Ukrainian country so he could use it to attack the other surrounding countries. He wants to rebuild the USSR which is where he grew up and prospered in as a young man. He is not going to make any deal for less than what he wanted to begin with. What he did not understand was how much the Ukrainian people did not want to be part of Russia. Even the people in the parts that openly allowed his nonuniformed troops to help them rebel now want the Russians to leave but it is too late, they lost all control. tRump is slow on the understanding and he has to be careful as most of us think Putin has something on him from the late 1980s when he was a man in his prime hanging out with Epstein enjoying underage girls he could abuse. Wind the clock back to the fall of the USSR, Putin a trained and indoctrinated KGB officer sees his precious USSR fall, humiliated. And the West struts around far from being really dignified in victory.
A motivated fellow is not going to let that rest. And not just him a whole lot of them to (those who didn’t shrug and just go into questionable business practices on the basis of ‘If you can’t beat ’em join ’em).
Trump did not have a clue he was up against a true battle hardened ruthless operator. And those in Russia are hardened in a very unforgiving environment too.
What a rube, what a dupe, what an an easy mark, him and all the rest who only supported Putin because it annoyed the liberals.
